yo im doing homework and i had a sappy thought so im sharing it with u guys

i know a lot of you are really young. Like, you’re in high school or middle school or maybe younger or older or whatever

and like

there’s gonna be stuff you suck at. stuff you can’t do. stuff you literally always get wrong no matter how many times u go over the steps. maybe you’ve got something hindering ur learning or maybe you don’t, or maybe you do and don’t recognize it. 

it can feel like the end of the world sometimes. when your trying so damn hard and you keep pulling 45′s or 30′s and maybe you can scrape up a fifty. 

i literally cannot do basic trigonometry. it’s entirely beyond me. this is stuff you learn in eighth grade. im an adult and i can’t do it at all. but i can paint. im in university for political science. my brother is in university for maths and he could not read a polisci paper to save his life, let alone do a paper on it. i know a person going into biological sciences who cant tie her own shoelaces.

i have friends going into trades who never graduated high school. i have friends who graduated and took a gap year and are now going back to high school to upgrade because they’re not ready to move on yet. i have a friend who almost died of an eating disorder and is going to school for makeup, her dream career.

all of us are success stories in our own way. we’re maybe not all the way there yet, but we’re working on it. We’re going places. and we’ve all fucking failed.

if you’re failing at something right now, please know i’m proud of you. you aren’t a failure. you’re gonna go places. no matter how stuck you are, you’re gonna keep going and you’re gonna do great

Every time I read the vigilante prompts I picture Deadpool, and I can’t tell if it’s ruining my life or saving it. Also your prompts are completely spectacular

Just a lil hint for what i’m thinking for the comic project-

Throne and Armored Aurum (the villain and hero, respectively) deal primarily with enhanced humans. Armored Aurum is basically an add-on to the cops for dealing w. any enhanced threats. While Throne does deal with regular humans for business and the like, everyone she has a relationship with is enhanced. While their civilian identity may be another matter, their superhuman personas are generally see as Above The Average Person. Throne is terrifying. Aurum is awe-inspiring

Meanwhile, Doll Coyote is basically the public disaster. He’s who you go to when your cat is stuck in a tree, when your senile granny has wandered off, when you need someone to kill your abusive stalker ex partner, that sort of thing. He’s a gay who can’t drive so he’s regularly on the bus with 3-5 coyotes stuffed into his overcoat.

He’s not interested in structures of power per say, he’s just trying to lend a hand
