Welcome to #India. The #Chawri #Bazaar was hands down one of the most intense places I've ever visited. I've never been so overwhelmed by such an onslaught of sights, smells, sounds, animals, flies, people, and heat (real feel 47 C). No picture could ever do the craziness of thus place justice. Children playing #gulli #cricket in #chawri #bazaar area. It's a good mix of old and new, notice the old #door at the very bottom of the image and the #shutter on the sides;though the old lane remains intact. I saw these two kids come out as their father(in all probability) open the doors and let them out for a while (you can still see his shoulder on the left side peeping out of the door). This short game for them would be a break from their studies or as an award for completing their homework since it was Sunday evening. I can very well relate to it with my childhood. For me it also symbolises the fact that you don't need fancy items to enjoy life.
