So few bands stay consistantly good, especially live.
Got home from seeing Coheed and Cambria an hour ago and they get fucking better.
Dev's dad will message me that they're touring and I'm like, yup, lets go. Who's driving? I don't think I own an album past The Neverender but live? I'm there with bells on everytime.
Same with The Wildhearts and Devin Townsend.
It's always going to be a good night.
And I'd love to be able to do live music like i did when I was 18-30 and going to London for the "big" gigs was a four to six time a year thing plus a summer festival, every other month was mid famous band in the next city over and someone's playing at the Joiners, never heard of them but tickets are £5, let's go.
But neither my income nor my knees (or the willing sitters) can keep up with that.
