Looks like something you would have seen in the beachside suburbs decades ago, before they were all torn down. 1960's-era apartment building in the ever ubiquitous 'Sydney red brick'. This one overlooks a six-track railway line. Stanmore.

1880's villa, with typical late Victorian-era bay windows. This one has long been used as a cheap rent boarding house for single men. Stanmore.

"Balnagowan" (c.1884). It might look like an abandoned late Victorian-era mansion, but it's not. The joint is full of folks as the place has long been subdivided into very small bed-sit flats for low income earners. Could use a lick of paint as the landlord has clearly done very little maintenance work. Stanmore.
