We chatted about Friday the 13th in the car on the way to school this morning. I’m always comparing the scary movies I watched at her age and way younger. She doesn’t have very many under her belt. I think she watched The Blair Witch Project on the sly but had nightmares. She asked me if we could watch a scary movie tonight. I just looked at her and asked “Do you want to? I don’t want you to have nightmares” She responds, “Mom. I won’t have nightmares, because I probably won’t sleep at all”. So I just told her I was going to put on The Hash Slinging Slasher, and that should be good enough.
Anyone getting a $13 tattoo today?? At the Harley Shop they are having a big BBQ and tatt fest. I found a really cool drawing of a pair of ornate sewing scissors I wouldn’t mind getting for that price. We’ll see.
Tomorrow is our big day volunteering at the local animal shelter. We decided to do this because we accidentally found a pet store nearby and when we went in there were so many dogs that it was hard to get Punk to leave. So this is my answer to not being able to have a pet and not going to a pet store only to have to leave sad. It will be good for the both of us.
Our new Parts Coordinator that was hired and started this week seems to be a nice young man. I think he’s like 22. He has been calling me Dara Loc since day 2 and when I went into his office today he was listening to Dean Martin. So yeah, a couple of gold stars for the newest new guy.
I’m happy to have that song of the day, that obscure song that I’ve never heard before, that song I love and will listen to every time, and even that song that makes me say “what the fuck” back in my morning wake up routine. Glad those songs and that dude responsible is here. 😊
I cringe when I see someone say they chose a tattoo parlor because it was cheap. Find a tattoo you like that someone can do, then save up the money.
