Preppy Nails: Blue Plaid Nail Decals
Decided to try out some water decals (also called water transfers), and I went for blue tartan plaid.
If you've never used water decals before, here is a previous mini-tutorial I did.
I usually get my full-nail decals from beauty supply stores like Lightinthebox.com and Bornprettystore.com but you can also find some interesting designs on eBay or Chinese shopping networks like taobao.com.
They look as cool as professional nail wraps, but they last and feel like nail polish and don't lift at the edges.
The problem is they're also a bit more complicated to apply. Some practice is required, and you'll probably need to buy 2 sets of the same design just to be careful. I also suggest watching a few "water decal nail" tutorials on Youtube just to see how it's done!
