Humility. After leading 2/6 pitches @the_fun_captain and I decided to retreat. The route (Rewritten, 5.8+ var) was fantastic, but we got off to a late start and were moving slower than anticipated. We miscalculated a rappel and to fix the error, I had to do a bit of rope ascending. A nearby party returned the favor, after I helped them free their stuck ropes, they let us rap off them, speeding up the much delayed descent.
