Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup cornstarch. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1 cup grated cheddar cheese. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 1/2 cups buttermilk. 2 large eggs. Cooking spray for waffle iron.
Instructions: Follow the directions that came with your waffle iron to get it hot. Mix the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl with a whisk. Break up the cheddar cheese and mix it in with the buttermilk and eggs. Keep mixing the batter until it is smooth. Use a little cooking spray to grease the waffle iron.
