Zora could not keep this a secret any longer. Nebra is going to be PISSED once she stops being flattered but that was what Zora was going for

It's unfathomable to me from the quality of this comic that this is my first time drawing teenage Noelle and NOT my first time drawing Zora

Okay the Black Clover world is still a world where Nobles and royals a big thing, so I wanna see more about the High society. Like Nebra wearing a beautiful and expensive dress and Zora making fun of her but lowkey loving it. And they attend a Ball together. I thought about this for an hour, plz gimme ur thought

Zora would be so torn about high society because it's everything he hates about magic knight classism without the forced class interaction. All the classism, minus the teeny tiny bit of forced self awareness derived from having no choice but to occasionally serve commoners. There's no way he'd be caught dead at one, let alone caught acting appropriately (see: subservient) to royals. Which causes quite a conflict of interest because there's nothing he loves more than seeing Nebra in a ball gown.

His solution? Crash the ball Robin Hood style. Just for a peek.

Nebra's pissed. When she said she wanted him to dress up and attend the ball, this wasn't what she had in mind! But... he did dress up and attend the ball. Technically.

Am I the only One who thinks that when Zora gets sad he would become very clingy. Like he’ll go to the Silver Eagle quarters and hug Nebra from the back and refuse to let go. And Nebra is really cool about it (since it’s really rare for Zora to show such emotions) and let’s him do as he likes.

Also there is this particular scene that I have in mind about sad Zora: while Nebra is doing paperwork and Zora is hugging her from the back, Solid walks in on them and is like „wha- what?“ Nebra ignores him and Zora sticks his tongue out toward him. So Solid gets really frustrated and walks away. Ps: I love this crack ship, bless whoever that brought it to life

This idea is phenomenal but of course I had to put my own spin on it

When Zora gets all up in his feelings he breaks into the Silver Eagle base during business hours to bug Nebra at her desk which basically means sitting her in his lap and poking and prodding and cuddling her while she works. Because, you know, he can't act like he just needs a hug, vulnerability is gross. Luckily Nebra agrees and this method means they can pretend to hate each other while enjoying each other's company

When Nozel found out Zora was doing this he blacklisted him. The Silver Eagles basically have orders to maim him on sight. However,

This does not stop him from getting in

What no one knows is that Nozel actually keeps one secret entrance of the base lightly guarded because when Zora breaks in Nebra's work productivity increases by 50% because he keeps her from falling asleep at her desk

That doesn't mean that he won't chase Zora out if he runs into them. Gotta keep up appearances and such

Nebra actually gets mad when Zora hurts her siblings so he's taken to setting trap spells that just incapacitate them. Solid being stuck to the floor is funny to everyone

As you may know I’m currently obsessed with our favorite crack ship ( to which I need more content to!!) but hear me out: soulmate AU where whenever you sing ur soulmate can hear you. So just IMAGINE 👁👄👁 how Nebra would feel after learning that fact AND the fact that out of all people out there, Zora was her destined one.

Okay but the real question is... What do they sing?

I HC that Nebra is BARELY a better singer than Noelle (one of the worst singers in the show canonically) so we know that Zora is in for a bad time, but to be frank... I can't imagine Zora singing any better

How do Zora and Nebra show their Affection for each other?, surely they have moments where they show their affection sometimes ;)

Oh ofc!!

I think it takes them a long time to get past the "I'm pretending to bug you but we both know this is prickly cuddling" phase but after that they really enjoy spending time in each other's company. I see Zora as the type of person who considers sitting around minding your own business in a room with someone you like a form of affection, and Nebra likes company while she does her leisurely activities, so just being together comfortably is a big part of their dynamic

But I can see Zora being pretty physically affectionate once he feels like Nebra is serious about this (which takes a while). Likes to be all over her, sometimes in the pricky-cuddly way and sometimes in a big-spoon-playing-with-your-hair way. Depends. Once he's comfy he's happy to listen to her chatter about whatever is on her mind (usually embarrassing stories about someone else or flattering stories about herself) and he's not always interested in the stories but it's nice to hear her voice coming out easily and cheerfully, since there's a tight, controlled edge to it in public

Nebra likes to receive affection but is a less active giver; she's the type to be cuddled and macked on but she's not usually initiating things unless she's really trying to get a rise out of someone. So laying around letting Zora be all over her is a nice soft time for both of them. When she's comfortable with someone she talks a LOT (unless what they're saying is much more interesting) and since Zora will let her talk until she can't sleep, that's what she does. From the outside it looks like Nebra is almost solely receiving while Zora awkwardly buries her in unrequited attention, but that's not what's going on and it's nobody's business
