Gravity is temporary. Cheese is forever
who want me
Jacknolds_daily posted this on instagram today and it always makes me smile when I see it. I love hearing Hugh talking about it with such enthusiasm because I actually live not many miles away from the hill where they do the cheese rolling 😀 In fact this year’s event is happening on Monday so I hope Hugh tunes in again!
CHEESE ROLLING
Cheeserolling and Aliens
I recently came across the Great British Sport of Cheese rolling, which I believe to be the only good thing to come out of that country. For the uninitiated cheese rolling is the sport of rolling a large wheel of cheese down a very steep hill, and a bunch of people chasing after it. Not by running, because that of course would be too slow and too boring, but tumbling down like rag-dolls.
Now imagine if aliens, who are already terrified of our ability to not care about bodily harm due to our insane need to do things because "why not" as we like to say, coming across this sport. Imagine the confusion and outright anger that would illicit because, WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT FOR A LOUSY WHEEL OF CHEESE?
Us british people cannot be real
(He is fine btw, he walked after like it was nothing)
Chase a cheese wheel down a steep hill! Tumble with friends in this ragdoll recreation of an English tradition.
Inspired by the Gloucester Cheese Rolling, it's a free game for 2-8 players and with a solo offline level.
There's also lava.
