A cool little American style bar in the northern beaches. Perfect for a beer after work and bar snacks. We had guac and the most amazing cheeseburger spring rolls. These things are rare and for $14 for 3 or $20 for 6, you can’t really go wrong!!

2016: The Year of the Cheeseburger Spring Roll
2016 may only be 9 days old, but already it has been eventful. Hands down, the best thing that’s happened all year was going to Ms Gs for dinner. For those of you who live in Sydney and have never been, go there immediately. If you don’t live in Sydney, get here immediately- I’ll pick you up from the airport and we’ll go there. Ms Gs is one of the many restaurants owned by the Merivale Group…

The Burger Bar @ Kensington Market
So my BFF and I checked out the Burger Bar last Monday, because I had bought a voucher from LivingSocial. I'm ALL about checking out new places with coupons!! 8D
It was a really kitchy, cute little place. What you seein the photos, is basically the whole place :D
We started with the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls. The waitress said, it would taste like a burrito...not so much. It was OK tasting, but too salty for my liking :( To me, it just tasted like ground beef, and I didn't taste any cheese. I thoroughly enjoyed the mustard though!!
We then shared the Market Burger, which consisted of: naturally raised beef blended with chipotle chorizo and toasted rice, topped with arugula pesto, goat cheese and blue cheese. The bun was super soft, the pesto and cheeses were yummy, but again the beef patty was too salty for my liking :( We also shared an order of Panko Crusted Onion Rings, that came with a spicy mayo. It too was a bit disappointing, as the panko was sweet, on top of already sweet onions :( I'm not a fan of mayo based sauces, but the dipping sauce was OK.
In a nutshell, would I patron this place again? Yes...but only because I have another voucher, which I'll be using with my hubby. Otherwise, I wouldn't go back...
Bon Appetit Everyone!! :)
