Since January 20th, the 45th president has: - withdrawn the U.S. from TPP. - enforced a federal hiring freeze. - compromised the Environmental Protection Agency. - compromised the National Endowment for the Arts. - compromised all "non-federal organizations" which provide abortion services. - reinstated construction on the dangerous Dakota Access Pipeline. - mocked the intention of the INTERNATIONAL Women's March. - forced his press secretary to lie about the attendance of his inauguration. This means he has vastly altered American trade, the medical industry, the arts industry, the landscape of our country, the way the world views America, the job market, and he has worsened the conservative view of women. DO NOT NORMALIZE THIS. If you disagree with this and any future destructive changes he will make, I encourage you to strike his name from your rhetoric and take away the importance of his title by referring to him as "president" and not "President." It's a small change, but it means something. But don't only do this. Pick up the phone. Call your representatives any time you hear of a bill or proposal with which you disagree. Change happens through action. Not through social media posts.
