My Mum has always warned me not to eat anything with a flag lest I should choke on the bamboo pick. So it took a lot of persuasion from co-owners Dan & Jacqui to persuade me to partake in The Great NZ Toastie Takeover sponsored by McClures Pickles. The good folk at Good Day has named theirs Cheezy Choasty. My table neighbour recommended it as well; he would as he’s a real Kiwi Bloke.
