How I turned Mac’n’Cheese into Mac’n’Soup
Well, kitchen comrades, today's culinary adventure took a slight detour! 🤣 What started as a noble quest for the ultimate creamy, gooey mac 'n' cheese ended up… well, let's just say I invented a new dish: Mac 'n' Soup! 🌊🧀
Apparently, my enthusiasm for milk knows no bounds. I added enough to fill the Great Lakes and still have some left for the cows! 🐄 My glorious cheese sauce decided to betray me and become a watery slip 'n' slide instead of a velvety hug. 🤷♂️ I tried everything – more cheese, flour, a dash of hope, even the "stir vigorously and pray" method – but the soup prevailed! 🚣♂️
As a 60-plus-year-old culinary captain adrift on a sea of runaway dairy, all I could do was laugh. 😂 Because if you can't laugh at your mac 'n' cheese turning into a bowl of hot dairy disappointment, then what can you laugh at?!
Tomorrow, we try again. Less milk, for sure. Or maybe I'll just market "Mac 'n' Soup" as the next big thing! 😉 Stay cheesy, my friends, and remember: if at first you don't succeed, add more cheese. Or less milk. Probably less milk. 😜

A vintage mistake
That feeling when you accidentally turn your legendary Coq au Vin into a "cleansing broth" with ancient balsamic vinegar! 😭 My kitchen still smells like a war crime committed by a very aggressive salad dressing. My sincerest apologies to my guests (and my teeth).

P.S. My sourdough starter is still in therapy.
