Update on Miko! She has been exploring and napping next to me on my bed. She also follows me if I leave the room and comes when she's called. I love her she is such a cutie 😭💕

I adopted a cat, Miko, from a family that couldn't keep her anymore today! She's taking a while to get used to her new surroundings and she seems to miss her old family so she's just been under my roommates bed all day. Now it's 2am and I get woken up by something and it's her at the foot of my bed! Truly blessed.

Cant sleep. Want to sleep. My body is much too awake and my heart races when I try to drift off.

had to call in sick to work today for the first time and i feel like such a jerk?? but i shouldn’t???? because i’m laying in bed feeling like a sack of dicks but like idk i’m sensitive to inconveniencing others and i really like my coworkers and i hate the be the jerk who couldn’t make it in today ahhhh
