Simeone admits Chelsea interest
Diego Costa has been linked with premier league giants Chelsea for a while now. He has led Atletico to the top of the table and is been a reliable goal scorer, exactly what Chelsea have been missing this season. Simeone in a recent interview suggested that a move to Chelsea is totally possible for Costa. He admitted that he will not stop the move from happening if that's what Costa wants. He also went on to say that Costa will improve Chelsea just like Eto'o.
When asked about Chelsea striker Fernando Torres, Simeone said that a move back is completely possible and said that he has been in touch with Torres all along. He said Torres would be happy to be back at a place he started and hinted that a Torres to Atletico move is completely possible.
This is great news for Chelsea fans as they want a clinical striker to lead the line as Chelsea have come up short of goals recently. Costa will face Chelsea in the Champions League semi final and it will be a great stage for him to show that he is the real deal.
