This is a link to an article about Kant’s relation to the sublime, as mentioned in the Shapiro reading on page 381. I do not have a background in philosophy so I did not grasp everything but it was helpful for context and allowing me to understand Shapiro’s distinctions between Kant’s sublime and chemical sublime.
