Perhaps it was merely coincidental that Verne spotted with his glowing eyes an organism escorting a mechanical being. Verne was also escorting someone much larger and taller, dressed in a trench coat, cargo pants, a scarf, shoes, gloved hands in pockets, and a very big hat, enough to completely shadow the larger figure's face. Not a single inch of exposed flesh(?) could be seen on the other. Just a dark void where it's face should be.

Verne approached the two with a charismatic smile, perhaps robots were common here?

"Hello!" Said Verne, tipping his hat, his head coming off with it before putting it back on. "I can't help but notice the mechanical marvel you have walking next to ya, and i'm just asking, what weapons does it have? Can it fly? Can it burrow underground? Disguise as other people?"

Seemingly ridiculous questions that actually applied to his everyday life. The other hulking figure, approached the two also, face still hidden. A sense of pure dread came from the gigantic figure, as if from the ominous shade was a mean glare from a cold, cold, figure of authority. The hat it was wearing turned towards Verne, a low, deep, yet quiet and mechanical voice can be heard.

"Fascinating, it's almost as if the construct escorting the meatbag does none of those things, fool."

As the bigger person spoke, a set of bars can be seen lighting up individually, like an amplifier, in the mouth area. The cap turned back to the two, a low robotic whirr can be heard coming from the neck area, before focusing directly back to the two, awaiting an answer.
