god okay... so most of my ferments failed but like its fine I'll start new ones but why didn't anyone... warn me... not to use rocks as weights when making vinegar? Because you see vinegar,,, disintegrates calcium.. and calcium.. is what the rocks are made of.. and I did NOT make this connection until my rocks started just completely falling apart in there and you could think 'you made good vinegar then! ' but what can I use vinegar for when its full of disintegrated rocks? ? Wow this was such dumbassery at work and I am still proud of myself bc I learned something new but its like sometimes I get an idea of thinking things thru but then its like 'rocks are heavy and indestructible they're a good weight' like no they're not vinegar destroys rocks.... its like rock vinegar scissor... vinegar wins vs rock... rip my apple ferment... you will be remembered...
