This blog started out as a place for me (Amanda) to just post gifs and edits of Rachel, primarily for myself. When I made it, a little over a year ago, I was only JUST learning how to use Photoshop and instead of spamming my personal blog with Rachel gifs ('cause she's my favorite, obviously), I made this little thing. And now, look! We're a community of over 3000! I've met so many wonderful people because of it, and I love love LOVE reading all of your comments when you reblog stuff or send me asks. I visit your blogs all the time, and they're magnificent. You guys are a wonderful, kind, loving, brilliant, funny group of folks, and I'm so honored that you're on this journey with me!

I wanna thank a couple people real quick too who are sort of my main support, whether they know it or not. Aherm, clears throat, taps mic: Thank you so much, rachelmonline, for constantly being the sweetest, most optimistic human ever (especially in the face of my angry rants via text, LOL), and for providing me with sooo many wonderful photos, both personally and via RachelMcAdams.org. You are like the foundation of this blog, and I meant what I said a while back in reply to that ask-- you are ESSENTIAL to the Rachel fandom, you are the greatest asset ever, thank you so much for existing and remaining magical while doing so. fuckyeahmcgosling for reblogging the original stuff we post on here. I think half our followers come from her reblogs, and I'm so grateful for that! chenaults, for recruiting me to make stuff at noomirapacedaily, which gave me the confidence to make my own stuff and, eventually, this blog. You are incredible and I owe you so much.

And of COURSE my lovely, wonderful, sweet, adorable, TALENTED co-admin ryxngxsling. You are the bee's knees, sweets, and I'm so glad you're around and we started chatting with each other! And just so you guys know, she's the mastermind behind using the 'rmcadams' tag so we can find your edits more easily and have a nice, non-weheartit-filled tag for Rachel stuff. You rock, Lou!

So yeah. Thanks a million, guys. Sorry for clogging your dash, but I had an outburst of emotion. I can't wait to see what the next 1000 posts hold, both for us as a tumblr community, as well as for Rachel's career! She's doing exciting stuff, and I'm so glad you're all on the ride with me. :)
