CHENFORD WEEK 2024 DAY ONE || Favorite S6 Scene: 6x04 - Training Day
#ChenfordWeek24 Day 1: break-ups & make-ups 💘
#chenfordweek24: Day 3 - new beginnings, physical touch, comfort, alternate universe.
This is my contribution to Chenford Week 2024, for the prompts show (don't tell) and break ups and make ups
The short explanation is, this is my imagining of how they get back together, sans dialogue, to fit the prompt
And yes, they're at a wedding again
Long explanation under the cut:
are you gonna tеase me or tase mе?
Chenford Week 2024 — Day 4: Lyrics
Both detectives look at Lucy. “What?” “You’re going to have to, well…” Angela starts. “Be pretty intimate with him,” Nyla finishes. “You’ll have to treat him like any other client.” The thought did occur to Lucy, of course, but she knows she’ll do what she needs to to get the job done. It’ll be a bit awkward, of course, but she and Tim are professionals. So, she responds with an easy shrug and says, “Yeah. I get it. I’ll have to give him lap dances while half naked. It’s fine. He’ll be fine, too.”
In which Lucy goes undercover as a stripper, and Tim is her main point of contact…as a client of hers. Late S4 canon divergent Chenford fic.

Chenford Week, Day Three: New Beginnings
Tim’s not even looking for Lucy when he sees it. He’s at the jewelers to grab a charm for Genny’s bracelet; to commemorate her getting her masters, like the proud big brother he is. He picks a little graduation cap, but as he’s walking to the counter to pay, he spots the gold necklace out of the corner of his eye.
It’s almost identical to the one he’d gotten her last year for Valentine’s Day, small and delicate. Except this one has a symbol engraved in the pendant.
“Something else catch your eye, sir?” The store associate smiles, walking over to the display case.
“Maybe, I —“ He takes a step closer, leaning down to get a better look.
It really is incredibly similar and it makes the urge to purchase it even stronger.
Lucy’s taken to wearing the old one again. Proudly displaying the necklace with every outfit. And while Tim loves that she’d kept it after all those months apart, he does feel a small pang of guilt whenever his eyes catch it.
When he’d bought it, the jeweler had told him it had a meaning. Endless, everlasting love; as a circle has no beginning and no end. It’s how he felt, and still feels about Lucy. And at the time, it felt like a perfect representation of all the plans they had made. A future filled with love and laughter, marriage and kids.
And then he ripped the rug out from under them in less than a minute. Catapulting their hopes and dreams off to a painful death.
She was wearing the necklace that night, ready to take him home and forgive him. Instead, he broke up with her.
