“You have some toothpaste on your lips, unnie.” Hanuel giggled, pointing at the woman who had entered the kitchen connected to the living room. “You’re such a messy brusher!” She taunted, laughing as she tuned out the cartoon playing loudly on her iPad.

Solji snickered, wiping the white paste off the corner of her mouth with her index finger before sucking on it. “Yeah,” she looked at Sunmi who hid a grin behind her hand, “i forget what i’m doing sometimes and get it everywhere.” She chuckles as Jongdae walked into the kitchen behind her. He winked at her, lightly tapping her behind as he went past.

Sunmi grimaced mockingly as she stared out of the large window, her face resting against her open palm. The penthouse was high above the settlement of the city of Seoul, curtesy of being two famous and well-looked-out-for entrepreneurs. They traveled quite a lot, having fun with one another while doing their job and Sunmi was left rest assured of her daughter’s situation as Jongdae took care of her whenever they went on trips across the globe. The day before they had arrived back in South Korea after touring Dubai, a beautiful wealthy country where the rich were kept well fed due to the oil percentages underneath their grounds, Sunmi had finally realised how much she travelled for work, but not herself. It really changed her prospective on her life in general.

A bored hum left her pink lips as the corners of her mouth twitched downward. The life she lived was prosperous, beautiful, full of good times, and hardships (leaving her sister behind, not staying in one place for long — besides for vacation or relaxation time — and so on), but there were faults in this life she lived that she couldn’t press her perfectly, recently manicured nails (done up in Dubai, of course — nothing like self-care to bring her spirits up) on. She craved an adventure, something more than this schedule she had; it was almost like her life was a chore, not a life.

Seol Sunmi needed a change, and quick.

“Noona, we should get a ferret.”

Not that kind of change.

An idea popped up in her head as she looked at the two adults conversing in the kitchen, smiles and small, short laughter shared between the two. Sunmi glanced at her daughter, who’s doe eyes were entranced by the flashing colours and squeaky voices of the characters on the small screen of her iPad in front of her.

She smirked, eyes darting between her best friend and her boyfriend.

“Hey, Hannie,” Sunmi grinned, gazing down at the small girl who stared up at her, “You wanna go on an adventure?”

Hanuel jumped up, her mother grabbing the iPad before it could drop to the floor, and chanted. “Adventure! Adventure! Adventure!” She shrieked in delight.

Solji gave the girl a look, whereas Jongdae made eye contact with Sunmi, who raised her eyebrows as she motioned to Solji with her eyes. He huffed.

Yeah, and an interesting adventure it will be.

Joel smiled as he looked himself in the mirror, shirt off as he stares at the swell of his abdomen. He's halfway through his pregnancy but his bump where his abs used to be made things more real, he was having a baby. He couldn't help the tears that gathered in his eyes at the thought of what was to come before he quickly wiped them away as he remembered why he was standing shirtless in the room he shared with his soulmate.

He was getting married today.

Joel's smile brightened as he ran a thumb over the engagement ring adorning his left ring finger, his thoughts going to his incredibly handsome fiancé who was getting ready a few doors over as Joel waited for Skylar to bring him his shirt. He felt blessed with the turn his life took when they came to London. Had they stayed in Faerie he didn't think he would have the things he had now, an amazing husband to be, a beautiful little baby on the way, all the amazing friends he's made since moving to London. He smiled as he thought of how much his life changed since moving to London, hand softly caressing his stomach. The door opened to reveal his best friend and platonic soulmate, little brother and his mentor.

"Little bear! Are you excited? Nervous? We need to get you dressed!" Daniel exclaims when he sees his state of undress and Joel laughed.

"I'm ready and so excited. I was waiting for you guys." Joel smiled, hand still caressing the swell of his abdomen.

"Your fiancé is a nervous wreck." Daniel chuckles.

"I can't believe you're getting married, Hyungie, this is so exciting." Jacob says bouncing on his toes.

"I know it's exciting. I can't wait to marry Gryffin." Joel beams at his little brother "Is your warlock coming? I want to meet him."

"He'll he here. He may already be here." Jacob smiles and Joel returns the smile.

MEANWHILE

Eric and David made their way to the room their Mentee was currently getting ready in to find the young warlock in a state. The nervousness and anxiety was palpable as they opened the door to help him get ready for the ceremony.

"Little Bunny, why aren't you ready yet? The ceremony starts soon." David says once inside.

"You ok, kid?" Eric asks, placing a gentle hand on Gryffin's shoulder.

OUTSIDE

Joon walked around to the back of the large house with Tristan's hand in his and Ember trailing behind excitedlt. It would be the first time his friends would be officially meeting Tristan as his mate and their son, though he vaguely remembers a drunken Tristan flopping himself into the laps of atleast two of his friends back at Magnus's party. Back then Tristan was beyond drunk and they had yet to establish anything between the two of them so this would be his first time introducing his beautiful lion to the others in a different way and it was both exciting and nerve-wracking. He turned to his blonde lover once they got to the entrance to the roof and cupped his cheeks.

"I know you don't remember meeting some of my friends since you were a little out of it but I promise they are amazing. They are going to love you just as much as I do." He says pecking the lion on the lips before seeing only Magnus standing in the back garden. The rest must still be getting ready. "Annyeong Magnus. It's really beautiful out here." He says greeting the high warlock as he took in the atmosphere.

"Hello new person, I'm Joon a friend of the grooms." The alpha says greeting a petite warlock standing off to the side, guessing he was the warlock Jacob mentioned he just started dating.
