Cherarchie/Archyl prompts
For all you guys who brotp them like me (or otp, who am I to judge?), have some prompts that I have zero time or motivation to write:
- Betty gets upset and badmouths Cheryl after her parents make a comment about Archie. Cheryl overhears Archie stick up for her by reminding Betty that she’s nothing like her parents deep down so why does she assume Cheryl is. Bonus points if it’s second grade and the comment was about Archie’s English skills/potential dyslexia (is it obvious yet that I’m thirsty for them to draw this out?).
- After Cheryl mentioning about no one wanting to show up to her birthday at the funeral, Archie makes a special effort to make sure the crew + Polly and her baby throw her a picnic or some other lowkey party that year.
- The two of them talking more after Cheryl asks Josie to help him with his music. Bonus points if it leads to him realises how shit her parents are and inviting her to live with him/get away from that.
- Both of them being asked to babysit Polly’s baby despite their conflicting parenting styles.
- After Archie makes it big in the music industry, he (and Valerie) pays Cheryl (and Josie) a visit to thank them for the chance they gave him to improve his music.
- Cheryl (and Veronica if she’s not the one dating him) helping Archie pick out an engagement ring.
- Cheryl helping Archie pick out an outfit for his wedding to Betty because “No uncle of my nephew is going to get married in that”.
- The emotional impact it would make on them if the two of them were close and found out Grundy/Jennifer raped and killed Jason. Despite Archie’s apprehensiveness about testifying against her and Cheryl’s anger at the fact, he does it and Grundy is found guilty. They then turn to each other for comfort after.
