cheribakudan liked for a small starter!

“Kaa-san! I’m home from my mission!” She said loudly as she closed the door behind her. She had just gotten back from her first mission outside of the village and she was just a bit tired. The mission itself was really simple but it was the traveling a long distance part that was tiring. She had only been gone for two days but she sure had missed her Kaa-san.

I honestly agree with you about the sannin/team 7. The only thing I tend to be less judgmental about is sakura (which I clearly have a bias). She should have worked to expand her skills instead of being tsunade copy. But I give her a break because like you said she was just ordinary. She wasn't like naruto with a tailed beast and she didn't have a clan gift like sasuke. while she should have worked harder to grow her own jutus, she worked harder than the boys throughout. Totally agree sannin

…were so much stronger and honestly more talented when it came to team 7. They actually refined their own jutus.

secondly, i have to say that i agree with you. sakura as a character never bothered me, however, the lack of skills she’s been given as a genin is what drove me crazy. just like you said, both naruto and sasuke were given way more material to work on and sakura was left behind with nothing but shadow clones, substitution jutsu and kunai knives. she was an ordinary kunoichi, and if we focus on that fact now, she truly has given her all to improve herself and to catch up with teammates and i respect that. on the other hand, i strongly dislike the fact that she became tsunade’s copy. alright, she did train her, she did work on skills that simply matched her talents (charka control etc) but even naruto and sasuke had some differences when compared to jiraiya and orochimaru, but then sakura ended up being just like tsunade which kinda annoyed me the most. if nothing else, they could’ve given orochimaru and tsunade sage modes, just to make sure sasuke and sakura aren’t on the same level as them. jiraiya and naruto both had that sage mode, but naruto has kurama, which changes everything. to sum up, what matters is that sakura never gave up and she did an amazing job with a few flaws, but at least she didn’t stay that poor, innocent little girl with kunais.

There are so many things we can do, switch them around so Obito ends up being Sakura’s Sensei, or they run into each other after the war, or good Obito has to make sure Sakura is worthy to become a Jonin and has to test her. There are so many options of them to newly meet and get a thread started. :)

The war was over. But their jobs as shinobi were far from coming to a close. After the war Kakashi turned down the hokage spot. He didn’t feel that he was good enough for the position that they had offered him. Instead he went back to the life he had known best. That was back to his ANBU days. Sure he was a little older ust Kakashi was more than capable of holding his own and thanks to the quick thinking of Sakura and other medical personel he was able to keep his sharingan.

Another interesting development after the war was what Sakura had chosen to do for herself. Everyone thought that she would take over the hospital and work her medical magic. Instead she had gone with the same route as him. Sakura’s graduation hadn’t been too long ago and he had attended to show support for her decision. Kakashi was glad that Sakura had found that she was good enough to be ANBU. He knew that she was one of the strongest kunoichi the village had ever produced and she would be a highly valued member of the elite squad.

This was all in the past now though. Today he was to get his assigned partner as he had been chosen to be in a duo-team. Kakashi recalled these from his earlier days. They were considered some of the best and stealthiest out of all the ANBU ranks.

He stood outside of the Hokage’s office waiting for his meeting to start only to see a familiar pink haired woman walking his way in her still new ANBU attire.

“Yo, Sakura. What are you here for?”

He asked politely pushing himself off the wall he had been leaning against.
