Cherishshipping is the ship between Logan Nelson and David (Saw .5).
Logan is the one who tested David, and he was his first test. When he survived, Logan sought him out as they worked at the same hospital at the time.
Logan fell in love with David before his test, but David was prickly and stand-offish and Logan wasn't sure how to approach him. It was so much easier after his test when he was broken, injured, and pliant.
David loves Logan's daughter and is good with her, and she likes him well enough. This is a big plus for Logan, who didn't know what he would do if Melissa didn't like his new boyfriend. She was surprisingly accepting of her father's bisexuality.
Logan knows David's father and Lawrence and is friends and Jigsaw apprentices with both. Matt and Logan were the other two pig masks when Mark was caught by Lawrence and put in the bathroom to die.
When Logan revealed that he'd been the one to test David, David ghosted him for three weeks. Eventually, he came back to him and admitted that he still had feelings for him and he didn't like that he'd been part of the most traumatic experience he'd ever had. Logan apologized, even if he didn't mean it.
Logan invites David to help with the Jigsaw stuff and gets him to become his first apprentice. David is the only apprentice he ever takes.
Lawrence, Logan, Matt, and David get along well, though the four do not get along well with Mark (and Peter in any of my Apprentice!Peter AUs).
