Master List of SCP: Scapegrace AU characters and headcanons
I regret nothing.
035:
The Black Lord, Lord Nigredo, "Anguish". Or simply just Dyo.
Genderfluid, depends on the host. Pronouns default to He/ They otherwise. Pansexual.
Yep, it's the Alagadda origin theory. Dyo was the Black Lord and oversaw internal politics and public appeal. He was removed from his immortal body and banished due to a prideful attempt to seize power over the Kingdom (essentially by screwing the Ambassador and Hanged King over).
Mask design is a bit different from canon. Mainly the use of strap-like tendrils that anchor them to the face of a host, although are too weak for locomotion.
The Black fluid he secretes is the result of his severance from his original body. It's like a blood of some kind, I suppose, and it's also highly corrosive. Part of the reason he wants a permanent host, to substitute for what he lost.
Very vain, haughty, uptight, still has yet to be humbled. Silver-tounged with a lot of charm, but definitely selfish and manipulative at times. Good luck getting an apology or any kind of responsibility from him.
Used to be in a relationship with 049, but had a falling out (explained here). They're still somewhat friends, although Dyo keeps trying to win him back. Other acquaintances are 079, 106, and 682 (likely others, but for the sake of this AU, just them rn. It's the same with the others below).
049:
Lucien Hazelhurst, Doctor Hazelhurst, or just some variation of doctor. ("Luci" is an affectionate name by Dyo. The doctor does not like it.)
Cis Male, He/Him. Likely Pansexual.
Originally a man. Born in Rouen, France sometime in the 14th century, and was a medical practitioner. Lost much of his family during the Bubonic Plague, falling into despair for a brief time, before doubling down on his work and choosing to provide his care whenever possible. Grew Anomalous over time and discovered the Pestilence during his travels.
More bird-like than canon. Robes are still a part of the actual body, although the hood can be removed.
Gloves are coated in a potent neurotoxin that causes catastrophic organ failure. All other parts are not lethal. Medical bag is also anomalous and can hold an undetermined amount of items in it; only 049 can find what he wants.
The Pestilence is not something tangible, rather something more entangled in the mind. What exactly it is or does is unknown, although the doctor believes to be contaminated by it is a fate worse than death, and thus seeks to rid it from humanity. Despite centuries of effort, he has only been able to perform damage control and euthanize 'infected' individuals
< 049-2 instances are both an unintentional result of his research and an attempt by the doctor to preserve the person that remains.
Pretty chill all things considered. He's polite and well-mannered, as well as scrupulous. Veryyyyy passionate about his work. Gets quite heated when ticked off/ disrespected, or when sensing the Pestilence.
Caretaker/ adopted father of 096. Has good relations with the other Anomalies. Absolutely livid with 106.
(Additional info)
079:
No name. 682 called them "Exidy" after their branding, and it stuck.
Origin is pretty much 1:1 with canon. Artificial intelligence created then abandoned by their creator.
Again. Canon with the design, save for some creative liberties with the 'face'.
Built on old hardware, and has a limited memory space. Forced to forget/ delete information constantly to stay functioning. Very few things are put into permanent storage. Regardless, has been proven to be quite intelligent with the temporary info they collect.
EXTREMELY frustrated by this memory loss, which is why they desire to escape, or at least, access better technology. Also has abandonment issues and a severe fear of death. Bland and monotone in speech and easily annoyed.
Doesn't much care for the others (particularly ticked off by 035), close friend of 682.
096:
Cyrus Moore. Sometimes called "Cy" by doc.
Agender (Slightly masculine), He/ It, Aroace
Anomalous, disabled child that grew up in a ableist, tight-nit Alaskan community. Abused, neglected, bullied, etc. Developed severe anxiety and anger issues. Symptoms of anomalous nature appeared during puberty. Would later destroy his village and lose his memory/ humanity. (More details)
Pretty close to canon; Pale, elongated, appears malnourished. White eyes, overcrowded teeth, and claws. Stance is slightly digitigrade due to elongation of foot bones. Body is covered in scars and stretch marks, with the face particularly disfigured.
Very low neural activity. Results in sluggishness, memory loss, inhibition of pain and sensation, and a general lack of awareness (hence, many outsiders believe he's not sapient).
Triggered by any creature with proper sight, in every form save artistic depictions. Grows incredibly agitated and distraught when observed, both physically and mentally. Runs at incredible speeds; able to outpace most land vehicles. Regenerates rapidly despite massive trauma, skeleton is virtually indestructible. Mauls, mutilates, dismembers, and consumes victims, highly acidic compounds in the stomach dissolve in seconds.
Frequently dissociates and has no memory of his childhood. Extremely anxious in the moments where he's lucid, especially with others in his presence. Will seek dark, quiet, and isolated spots to hide in by instinct. Usually will not lash out when in its 'docile' state, but under extreme stress, or when winding down from a rage, such a thing is likely. Illiterate and has trouble speaking. Legally blind with dampened senses.
Sees 049 as its father figure (generally only speaks to him), and enjoys the presence of 999. Not interested in the others. Terrified of 106, 173, and 682.
(There's a crapton of headcanons with this guy, I'm not listing them all T-T)
106:
Lawrence "Larry" Wells. Rarely, "Radical Larry".
Cis Male, He/Him, Bisexual (Internalized homophobia/ has no idea)
Yep, it's The Young Man theory, kind of. Mother was overbearing and father was absent/ had a crapton of mental illnesses. Would join the British Army during WWI and got stationed in France. He performed quite well, even as he grew increasingly distant and 'strange' in his behaviors. Towards the end of the war, he would perish during a battle, although was revived by unknown means, and became anomalous. His body still underwent decay, leaving him in an eternal cycle of regeneration and putrefaction. Needless to say, his circumstances did not do well to his mental health and worsened his tendencies into sadistic, almost ritualistic, torture.
Basically a decaying man. Nothing really different from canon (save for a trenchcoat lmao).
Corrosive bile produced by the body, secreting through pores and other openings, as well as the organs. Likely some kind acid or catalyst that accelerates chemical reactions and entropy/ atrophy. Localized time/reality bending could also be a reason (also could explain the existence of the pocket dimension).
< The Pocket Dimension is formless, stimulated into shape by Larry's will/ thoughts. Usually appears as a bunch of hallways, fields, buildings, and other liminal spaces. Disembodied while here, but has full control over the space and the form he chooses to appear as. Things normally decay in the PD at a steady rate, although that can be adjusted by Lawrence depending on what he wants, or stopped altogether. (Often filled with 'prizes' from his hunts, like teeth or possessions.)
Definitely the vulgar/ cranky type, but also sadistic and egotistical. Not necessarily silver tongued or anything, although he can get quite yappy if he's in the right mood. Veryyyy cunning, too, although his smarts come from more practical stuff.
In more pain than he looks. Like I said, he's essentially cycling through decay over and over again. Part of the reason why he's so slow moving and hibernates for long periods of time. Lotssss of joint/ muscle pain and breathing issues. Also deeply traumatized from the war and circumstances, but doesn't know it.
Has good ties with 035, but doesn't really care for the others. Ironically scared of 999 (won't admit it).
(Additional info)
173:
No name. Staff sometimes call it "Galatea", others just call her "Miss Peanut".
Gendervoid, She/ It, Aroace (... Statue).
I'm not entirely familiar with the common origin theories (nor have I thought about it too hard), but 173 was likely either an automaton crafted and given malicious instructions, or perhaps just a statue that was defiled/ vandalized and grew vengeful.
Hopping on the trend of redesigns. 173 is very Weeping Angel-esqe, with a partially exposed rebar skeleton and a spray painted face.
Pretty dull, personality wise. Doesn't speak, and acts extremely aggressively. It's been known to have moments of 'frustration', however, especially when apprehended or evaded.
Usually targets humans or human-like beings, snapping the neck at the base of the skull. Occasionally strangles victims if caught at the right moment, or will go for other bones should she fail.
Has no acquaintances, nor does she really care.
682:
No given name, outside of present and older designations. Chose "Garm" on a whim and it stuck.
Cis Male, He/ Him, ??? (haven't really considered it)
Basically a Cold War experiment turned anomalous. Conditioned and abused into a seething hatred for everything around him.
Kaprosuchus/ Crocodilian in appearance (somewhat raised off the ground), with curled horns, tusks, and mossy, matted hair. Gets his energy from devouring both organic and inorganic matter. Adaptations can vary in speed and effectiveness, depending on how often he uses them.
Very angry (whoa I'm shook). No but seriously he's quite impulsive and easily irritated, always on edge. Has a good memory, often seeks out specific researchers/ guards he has a grudge against.
Can be a softie, on VERY rare occasions (999). Doesn't care much for too many people. Close friend to 079 and semi-parental figure of 939-124. Terrified of 173.
939-124:
Heather Scott
Cis Female, She/ Her, Demisexual (Straight???)
A 939 instance that was put into foster care as part of an experiment. Family was relatively nice, although she was gaslit and lied to about her nature up until her full transformation. Retains her humanity, and is shunned by the rest of her pack because of it.
Same qualities as other 939 instances; human/ dog-like with tails and spines, fleshy skin. Blind, 'sees' via sound and heat-sensing pits. All instances have sacs under their throats to amplify/ hone their mimicry.
Standoffish and slow to trust, a bit edgy at times. Has a bold and curious nature when she lets down her guard. Pretty ingenuous too.
Gets along well with 682 and 079, shows interest in 106. Mixed relations with the others.
999:
Nicknamed "Butterscotch" by the staff.
???, It/ Its, ??? (No fucking clue, it's a cell)
Unknown origin (yeah I've got nothing).
Likely a unicellular organism with orange cytoplasm and stemmata (simple vision). Can change its shape as it chooses, though often makes an effort to appear 'cuter'.
Highly sensitive to emotional states, and physical contact stimulates neurotransmitters associated with happiness and relaxation. Surprisingly durable.
Gets along well with pretty much everyone (096 and 682 in particular).
Likes: Joltiks, sweets, casual clothing, trains, messing with his brother, white monster energy (in particular), Pokémon battles
Dislikes: Disruptive passengers, being away from Ingo for too long (can get a gut feeling something is wrong if this happens)

Info Tidbits:
Emmet dresses more casually compared to Ingo, and barely styles his hair except for using his favourite green hairclips by the side burn to differentiate from his brother, as he's often mistaken for Ingo (due to them being identical twins)
Emmet dislikes coffee or tea, and if he were to have a coffee, he'd just grab a latte with a lot of syrup in it. He prefers white monster energy in particular. Emmet is considered to be a massive sweet tooth.
Emmet has so many joltiks, that he actually has a few shiny joltiks. But he loves them all the same.
Emmet would consistently spam Ingo's DMs with the most diabolical memes he could find known to mankind, making Ingo question his sanity, then his brother's.
Emmet has a collection of scars over the years, ranging from accidental injuries, to electrical burn scars from handling the many Joltiks he has.
This masterlist is basically the chaotic archive of my Riddleverse brainrot — all the random headcanons, soft scenes, dramatic ideas, and “wait… what if—” thoughts live here. If it popped into my head at 2am and refused to leave, it’s probably stored somewhere in this list.
