I've been looking back at past memories I've posted some are cherished and some I wish to forget. I have missed seeing the dogs everyday and watching the sunsets with them. Today was a rough one. This....this here 𝙷𝚎𝚛𝚋-𝙾𝚡 𝚂𝚘𝚍𝚒𝚞𝚖 𝙵𝚛𝚎𝚎 𝙲𝚑𝚒𝚌𝚔𝚎𝚗 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚘𝚛 𝙶𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚞𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚍 𝙱𝚘𝚞𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚘𝚗 𝙿𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚎𝚝𝚜 𝟾 𝚌𝚝 𝙱𝚘𝚡 had me in tears today. Tears that I couldn’t hold back while shopping for groceries at Walmart. I know it sounds weird...I wept because of some chicken bouillon. But there’s more to it. I wept because my Granny asked me to look for her some sodium free chicken bouillon. She had it once before long time ago. We searched grocery store after grocery store and couldn’t find it. I stumbled upon one single box that looked like someone returned to store from dot.com. Anyone who knew Granny knew that she watched her sodium like a hawk. Regular bouillon is too salty and has wayyy to much sodium. But sodium-free was a game changer. After she finished that box, she called me and asked me to be on the lookout for some more. We still couldn’t find it in stores but I was able to find it on Amazon along with sodium-free beef bouillon and sodium-free backing powder. I didn’t tell her I found it. I bought it and had it delivered to her front door. She called me a little while later and the excitement in her voice was everything. Why did weep? I wept because I don’t have the chance to hear my Granny’s voice anymore. I wept because I won’t be able to Reminence with her about the old days when we would hope in a car and go down home to visit all her friends and family. I wept because even when I talked to her over the phone, I could hear and vision that big old smile that she always had on her face when I saw here. I wept because I miss my Granny. She was the oldest and the last of my grandparents. The last of her generation. She was one of a kind. I cherish the moments we had. I hold close to heart the memories. It’s been hard for all of us these past few months, but we stand bold and solid ground. We stand on the truths and the foundations that Granny built for this family.
