There really isn’t anything as satisfying as making delicious anything with ingredients from your own garden. This tomato was a late one that @thetickledgardener ripened in a paper bag because we had a frost coming in and we were determined to enjoy this! Totally worth the wait. I made up a pound of bacon on Sunday and added some of that along with the tomato slices, pepper jack cheese, and some diced onions in the egg. Blah morning, weeds overtaking more of the garden, bargain hunting was a bust lol, wasted energy (yeah, I can’t call it gas anymore. Fuel?) going to a meeting, critters stole all of the Asian eggplants. 😩 On the bright side, cucumbers are still producing and harvested our first #cherokeepurple tomato.
