What are the main factions of this war? Kaos and the doomraiders are enemies in this si?
Yes, Kaos and the Doom Raiders are indeed enemies, but I wouldn't really put them on the same team. The Doom Raiders were still locked up when the war started. Kaos broke them out a few years in hoping for allies, but they wouldn't have gone along with it. They have their own shit to do. Regardless, the Skylanders will have to deal with them too. A distraction that still puts Kaos on top.
There are many factions, all with their own motivations and views on the war, but that would be an excessive amount of info so I've narrowed it down to these five.
Skylanders:
The Skylanders - An international order of heroes tasked with maintaining peace throughout the Skylands. Most of them were killed by Kaos and the Guild when the war started.
Mabu Defense Force (MDF) - A coalition of mabu kingdoms and tribes united in self defense. They are the closest ally the Skylanders have.
Kaos:
The Forces of Darkness - Kaos' private militia he inherited from his family.
The Artificers Guild - A faction comprised primarily of inventors, engineers, and scientists bent on progressing the technological and scientific fields.
Evergreen - A drow extremist group founded to fight against oppression in the Ivory Wilds. (key note: drow is a blanket term for anyone born on the forest floor, not just elves. It's my explanation for why the drow archer looks so different from the other drow enemies.)
There are other factions on both sides, and many neutral ones, but these are the main players.
