Naruto could never amount to the perfect romantic his mentor and partial guardian Jiraiya had claimed himself to be, but he could admit to knowing how to treat a special lady right during the holiday of love, and none of it was learned from the older man. No, Naruto had known Sakura for long enough to know exactly how she would like to be treated on this special day, what flowers to get, what treats would be most loved, and where to go.
Being broke college kids though, still made it somewhat hard to get everything perfect for his dear friend, but he had still somehow managed to get a decent sized bouquet of roses and have enough money to pay for a full day at the carnival, food and games included. He knew Sakura probably would get mad that he wouldn’t let her spend a dime, but this was a day for her, not him.
He waited patiently outside the carnival date for her, and when she finally came into view he quickly dashed over to her, handing her the bouquet of pink roses to her.
“Happy Valentines day Sakura~ You ready for our date?”
