Tried making a sprite of a video game protagonist I designed a while ago. If I ever do make this a game, I plan to model everything first and then pixelate them using rendering (that way animating them and rotating them in space will be marginally easier on my brain), so I didn’t really need to do this, but I still enjoyed making it.
Her name is Cherry Bomber and I’ve included her original concept art as well.
She would be the protagonist of a fruit themed 2D fighting game with friend sim elements called Punch Bowl Brawl, set in Kudamomo City (a combination of Atlanta and Tokyo and portmanteau of the words “fruit” and “peach” in Japanese)
After being kicked out of the roller derby, Cherry decides to put together a “fight club” by picking fights and making friends with other girls all over Kudamomo.
