How did you come up with the trans headcanon for Elaine uppercrust?

Hello!! Thanks for liking my art 🌈🌈🌈🌈 Many things inspired me to make Elaine, but the two most specific things was the first chapter of NotStan's fanfic "Lying Awake" & Silkoodles Fan art for saidfanfic 💜❤️

These two honestly inspired me (They're the reason I even got into Maxley to begin with haha). The further I got into the fandom the more I wanted to create my interpretation of these two! Now it's two groovy years later, I'm here making a fun comic of them 🌈🥰💚🩷

Thank you two these two for inspiring me & all who've shown interest in them!! I have the first "in between/filler" comic on pause while I work on comms 🫶🏽💚💚 It's a short 6 pg issue that I hope can get it out soon for y'all 💗🩷😊🩷💗

Tryin' to figure out shape language and the shape style I love the most yours! So, I'm tryna to do a bit of a study while adding other bits of styles I like.

This helps too (I'm putting the images here in case anyone needs them. I'm not sure who drew the set of anatomy guidelines though.)

I've been meaning to get around to doing another quick tutorial of how I structure my characters bodies but sadly, never got around to it past this:

I start off with what I'd like the characters head shape to be and then a quick thumbnail of the shapes I'd like to use for the rest of their body. I colored each body peace to make it easier to read 🩷 Head, chest. ribs/waist/bottom, upper arm/thighs, forearms/shins, & hands/feet 💐💐💐 Hope these help y'all see what I think creatively 💚💚💚💚💚

Had to draw her again!!! Don't know why I gave her a high pony tail, I just thought it was a good idea.

After seeing all the fanart of her, I imagined that people on campus (in the au ofc) would just randomly come up to her and give her drawings on a somewhat regular basis. 'cause why not boost the gal's ego a lil more?
