IT’S NOT THAT MUCH OF A STORY AT ALL

i went to a national boardgaming tourney and made it to settlers of catan semi-finals but i missed the cut off for quarter finals so that’s why i was 7th in the nation instead of in the top 6

I love my cats and dogs (and they love me too!!!) but tbh I've wanted a rat for ages specifically because of the relationship I've seen btwn the rat owners I know and their rats

rats are great pets. the first pets i had that were really ‘my’ pets as a kid were rats (id go around with my pet rat in my sleeve as a kid) and i have rats now too... they’re just. super smart and curious and playful and lovely. big personalities in small bodies! only drawback is their relatively short lifespan, esp since they are such personalities i love dogs and cats too... they’re wonderful pets. i’ve always grown up with a family dog and in the future i’d like to adopt a pet cat... cats are the pet my family absolutely won’t allow so im always curious about them.

their opinion on other animals is ridiculous and wrong but the “cats don’t like you” is like the friggin canary in the “I don’t understand that animals show affection in different ways” mine

yeah i get extra defensive about the other animals bc a lot of people even working in vet services believe it about small animals but with cats there is so much research/evidence that proves they care it’s ridiculous. it’s a ridiculous comment. if you hold CATS up as ‘debatable’ your standards for emotional bonds in animals are very ridiculous and i doubt you believe anything but dogs feel emotional bonds

Thanks! Streetlight Manifesto is my favorite band and by far my favorite band to see live.

oh MAN this is the worst! also sometimes when you're on a Tall Rollercoaster at the top and it's like. i bet this view is probably breathtaking huh
