CHERYL X FEMALE!READER - SO THIS IS LOVE
It kind of snuck up on her. A little warm feeling in her chest whenever the girl smiled, or laughed at a cheesy joke Archie made, or played with her hair when off in a day dream. It was little things like that, slowly building inside her over time. She hardly paid attention to the way her heart jumped when they brushed hands until it was too late.
(Y/n) wasn’t doing anything especially remarkable, just rambling on about something to Jughead, whilst expressively waving her arms around. But as Cheryl watched the pair, the sudden realisation hit her like a tidal wave.
Shit.
I’m in love with this idiot.
Trying to not give off any visual clues that she was freaking out, she politely mentioned she was away to use the bathroom, walking casually until she was out of sight before pushing herself up against a wall, hand on her chest.
Her mind raced through every encounter, every little touch and shared smile, every time (Y/n) held her hair back for her when she was sick after partying, every time they stayed up till sunrise just talking about unimportant things, every tiny memory flashing before her, and she tried to think why she hadn’t realised this sooner.
It made her feel cheated, like cupid had tricked her into a false sense of security, letting little droplets of love float into her heart and then opening the damn when she least expected it.
She couldn’t help but also feel guilty. Had she known this all along and just never admitted it to herself? Had she always had ulterior motives when she became friends with (Y/n)? How would the girl react if she told her? God, could she ever tell her?
Her head was spinning with questions, and she found herself so distracted that she barely noticed the person standing in front of her until they literally snapped their fingers in front of her face.
“Cheryl” Kevin frowned “Is everything alright?”
“I’m in love with (Y/n)” the words slipped out involuntarily, the girl looking up at her friend with fear in her eyes.
“And the sky is blue” he chuckled “Are you just realising this now?”
“Yeah” she let out a small sigh “What the hell am I going to do?”
“You should tell her” he shrugged, beginning to walk away.
“Are you crazy?” she grabbed his shoulder, yanking the boy back much to his dismay.
“The way I see it you have two options. You can tell her how you feel or carry on with exactly what you’ve been doing so far” Kevin sighed “And let the ultimate lesbian power couple slip through your fingers. It’s up to you”
“I’m so screwed”
“Yep”
Cheryl: “What you did was brave.. and a little stupid. But I want to thank you for it.” You: “Ofcourse Cher. She needs to know you have a heart too, you can be hurt too.” Cheryl: (smiles) “Thank you. And for the record,” (she bites her lip) “I thought it was kinda hot too.”

Ditched (Cheryl x Fem!Reader)
Prompt: Cheryl gets jealous that you’ve been spending all your time with Betty…
Words: 1195
Warnings: None
A/N: my first ever FxF imagine! Hope you enjoy!! <3
MONDAY
“Hey hun!” Cheryl smiled at you, coming over from across the hall “What’re you doing tonight?”
“I’m hanging out with Betty at Pop’s, working on some Blue and Gold stuff! What about you?” you asked. You didn’t notice, but her smile faltered.
“Oh nothing, probably going to hang out with the girls, get some mani pedis.” She says, and you nod. The bell rings for class, and you grab her arm.
“Hey, we’ll hang out tomorrow okay? I’m not forgetting about you.” You say with a small wink, squeezing her arm lightly and walking away. You didn’t notice the blush creeping up on her cheeks.
TUESDAY
“So, (Y/N), come over tonight? Sleepover, watching Rom Coms on Netflix and some good ol gossip? Just like we used to?” Cheryl asked, her voice sounding hopeful. You cringe lightly.
“Oh, god, Cheryl, I’m so sorry,” you say, and see your best friends face drop. “I totally forgot. I promised I’d help Betty with one of her articles, editing it and stuff. Her and Jughead are counting on me.”
Cheryl nods, smiling.
“Okay, what about Friday? In true sleepover fashion? At 7pm?” she asks, and you nod, smiling wide.
“Of course! I’ll be there!” You say, and give her a small side hug before walking to your next class.
FRIDAY
Cheryl sighed, figuring that you had forgotten about your plans, again. She didn’t know why she was more upset than all the other times. Face it, she thought (Y/N) is totally in to Betty, and doesn’t even see that you have the biggest crush on her.
She opened up her Twitter, and saw one of your more recent tweets. It was a picture of you and Betty, Pop’s chocolate milkshakes in your hands.
“After school study date”, the tweet read, and Cheryl’s face almost matched her hair color in fury. Sure, it was posted at around 4pm, and there was no other activity on her feed, but she felt almost…betrayed. It was already 8:43 and there was NO word from you. The jealousy bubbled up inside of her, and steaming, she went onto her own twitter account.
“Now we know where loyalty lies” she tweeted, hoping and praying that (Y/N) would see it.
Tossing her phone to the side, she decided to watch Netflix by herself, not noticing the dozens of calls and texts from you assaulting her phone. She fell asleep that night cold, alone and on the verge of tears.
SATURDAY
You wake up, and check your phone. You had totally forgotten about plans with Cheryl, so caught up in all your activities throughout the week. You felt horrible, and you could tell Cheryl was jealous, but you couldn’t understand why.
You got a text from Betty then. Opening it up, you sighed when it read “Hey, want to hang out with Jughead and I today?”
You hated saying no to people. It was your biggest flaw. You wanted to please everyone, and wanted to keep yourself busy, but it’s been draining you dry.
“I can’t” you texted back “I totally forgot about my plans with Cheryl last night so I’ll go hang with her today!”
Betty texted back a little winky face, which caused you to blush. She was the only person on the planet that knew about your little crush on Cheryl. You tried so hard to hide it, but once Betty had seen you staring at the red headed girl multiple times, she caught on quickly. So when you saw her tweet, it cut deeper than normal.
You got up from your bed, going to shower and get ready for the day. Once out of the shower, you got dressed, putting on minimal makeup and making your way to the front door, grabbing your car keys and phone on the way out.
You drove to the grocery store first, getting yours and Cheryl’s favorite junk foods. One thing Cheryl couldn’t resist was a good Oreo.
You then drove to Cheryl’s, the guard at Thorn Hill’s gate recognizing your car immediately and letting you in. You parked and walked up towards the steps and opened the door. No one seemed to be home in the large home, so you made your way up to Cheryl’s room. The door was slightly ajar, and you could hear the TV playing commercials in the background. But when you pushed it open more, you saw Cheryl laying on the bed, red hair splayed out on the pillow.
She was asleep, and in that moment she looked so peaceful. You walked up to her, sitting down on one side of the bed. You brushed some hair away from her face, and she shifted.
“Mmm, five more minutes mom,” she said, and you giggled, making her eyes shoot open.
“I mean I’m not your mom but you can definitely go back to bed.” You say, and she frowns.
“Why are you here, (Y/N)?” she asks, sitting up in bed and crossing her arms. You bite your lip.
“I just wanted to say how immensely sorry I am. But you weren’t answering my texts, or calls, and I was worried sick.” You say, and she grabs her phone, first seeing all of the notifications on the screen.
“I fell asleep really early last night,” she said, and you nodded. It was quiet at first, but then you spoke up.
“Why did you tweet that rude comment?” you ask, and she bites her lip, looking sheepish.
“I was mad.”
“Why?”
“Because you spent all of your time with Betty!” she snaps, her mood changing like the drop of a hat.
“I know, and I’m sorry. I just wasn’t-“
“You weren’t thinking is what you weren’t doing. You weren’t putting anyone’s feelings into consideration but your own. I know you may have a crush on Betty but you can’t just forget about other people!” she snaps, and you laugh slightly. Her words don’t hurt you, you knowing that she doesn’t mean them in the slightest. “Why are you laughing?!”
“You think that I like Betty?” she asked, and she frowns.
“Well, yeah,” she says, going into defense mode. “You spend all your time with her and you’ve forgotten about me and-“ You don’t even think before grabbing her face and kissing her softly.
The pair of lips that molded with yours were nothing short of perfect. She doesn’t kiss back at first, but once she does, that’s all you crave. You crave more of her, and she craves more of you. Her hands tangle in your hair, the kiss going from cute to passionate.
You pull away and attack her jawline and neck with kisses, finding her sweet spot once she moans. At this you realize exactly what is going on, and pull away. You two stare at each other for a minute, not sure what to say.
“Do you still think I like Betty? Or did that change your mind?” you ask, and she smiles.
“I think I need to make sure you don’t,” she says, and goes back in to kiss you.
And all day you two spent laying in bed, giving each other little kisses, finally watching those Rom Coms.

prompt: [requested via wattpad] mayyyyybe a Cheryl Blossom x reader (or Elsie the character name) which is the same sorta storyline as the Clara one but like obviously it's Cheryl, and she can't admit her feelings v well and and they more than likely wouldn't go on an adventure it's probably just like in the hallway and at parties idk
Parties weren't exactly your thing, but Cheryl had asked you to come and you couldn't say no to her, so here you were, stood in a corridor packed with people, searching for your favourite redhead. It didn't take long to find her in the kitchen, red solo cup in hand. You weren't sure if you had imagined it, but her eyes seemed to darken when she saw you, and she did everything she could to avoid eye contact.
You frowned as you reached her. "Hey. I was looking for you." "Well," she sighed, and just like that, she was the Cheryl you knew again, slightly bitchy and a little too hostile. "You found me. Congratulations, [Y/N]."
She moved to push past you, but your voice stopped her. "I don't get it. You asked me to come, so I came. Now I'm here, you're not interested?"
Cheryl looked around at the friends that surrounded her, crossing her free arm across her torso and shrugging. "I mean, it's whatever, [Y/N]. I said come if you wanted to, and here you are. It doesn't really make a difference to me if you're here or not."
You nodded, swallowing the lump in your throat. You had finally thought you were getting somewhere with her when she had asked you to this party, but it seemed you had been wrong. Cheryl didn't care. She never had. "Then I guess I may as well leave," you mumbled as you passed her and left the kitchen, blushing as people smirked at you. You wasted no time in leaving the house, pulling your jacket on quickly as though it could protect you from what had just happened.
The sound of heels clicking against the concrete followed you, and you stopped when you heard her voice.
"[Y/N], wait. I'm ... I'm sorry."
You whipped your head around to face her. She no longer had a drink in her hand, and her eyes were much softer than they had been before; she could even look at you now, which was a development in itself. "No, I'm sorry, Cheryl. I forgot you could only talk to me when your friends aren't around."
"It's not like that."
"Then what is it like? You know, I don't even like parties. I came for you, because I thought you wanted me to." You closed your eyes against the harsh wind, and when you opened them again, Cheryl was standing much closer to you, so that you had to look up at her in her high heels. "I should have known you're not interested in me."
"I am interested, and I was so happy when I found out you were here." Her warm hands found your cold ones, and your skin tingled from her touch. "I'm sorry."
"You didn't look very happy. I don't understand, Cheryl. I try so hard. I accept you as you are, even when you have your front up and you say things you don't mean. I was willing to put up with all of that, because I know you're struggling with your brother's death and your parents and all the other crap you put up with, and it doesn't bother me the way it probably should." You inhaled shakily. "But this bothers me. Pretending you don't care bothers me. Honestly, it makes me feel worthless. Do you like me or not? For once, just tell me the truth."
She was silent as her mouth tried to form an answer. Finally she said, "Yes. Of course I like you."
"Then why do you act like this? Are you embarrassed of me?"
"No. No, of course not. I just ... I'm not used to being nice, and maybe I'm not used to people being nice to me. Not like you are. I guess it's easier for me to be hated than liked." She looked down to where your hands were still entwined. "I'm not very good with feelings. The way that I feel about you scares me, because I've never felt this before. I want to be with you, [Y/N], but I don't know how to do that without screwing it all up."
"Just stop pushing me away," you whispered softly, tracing your thumb against her jaw. "Let me in, Cheryl. I'm afraid, too, because every time I think maybe there's a chance you could want me, you treat me like this, but I'm still here. Aren't I?"
She nodded. "I'm sorry. Come back to the party?"
You shook your head, stepping away from her. "I can't go back in there. Sorry. Maybe we could grab a milkshake at Pop's sometime instead?"
"How about now?" Her eyes glinted with hope, and you couldn't help but smile.
"You don't have to leave because of me," you said.
"Oh, come on." She rolled her eyes, a gesture you knew well by now. "Like I haven't been to a trillion other lame house parties. Besides," she linked her arm through yours, "I'd rather spend time with you. I want to show you how much I really do like you. And I'm going to start by doing this."
Then, she was kissing you.

When you reached adolescence you promised yourself you wouldn’t label yourself anymore. You had a lot of labels growing up in the footsteps of your brother Archie, you were the only female in the house following your mom’s abandonment. You were stamped with labels that you didn’t care for.
The sexual orientation label was the one you hated the most with the words placing you in the world where it deemed fit. That's why when Veronica had asked if you were straight, you admired her bluntness, you had shrugged not caring.
The next day at lunch after the tryouts for cheerleading you had placed yourself between Betty and Veronica. Cheryl was busy planning new routines and you wanted more friends that weren’t total bitches.
“You’re gorgeous!” Veronica grinned, “How do you get your hair to shine like that?”
You: “Hey beautiful.” Cheryl: “Oh leave me alone, please!” You: “Don’t you like me anymore?” Cheryl: (sighs) “I never did.” You: “I don’t believe that. I think that secretly you’re in love with me. Common, admit it!” Cheryl: “Ugh, no. I never will!”
