Imagine Peter having a crush on you and your godfather (Tony) finds out... (2)
(Part 1)
Hearing a gentle knock against her door, (Y/n) put down her computer and walked towards it, frowning as she read the time from the clock on the wall. It was 2 am, which usually meant she and her godfather were the only ones left awake, working away at something, minds unable to rest until they had solved the problem they were working on. She had picked up many habits from the man over the years, and insomnia was definitely one of them.
Yet, he had no reason to be knocking on her door at this time, so when the girl opened the door to see Peter’s smiling face she was pleasantly surprised.
“Uh, hi” he smiled nervously, itching at the back of his neck, his voice low and quiet as to not alert anyone else in the neighbouring rooms “I-I couldn’t sleep and I got up to get a drink of water, and I saw your light was on so-“
“Come in, dork” the girl laughed, checking that no one else was hovering around in the corridor before pulling him inside.
He stumbled slightly but recovered, noticing the open laptop on her bed and studying the screen with interest.
“What’re you up to?” he motioned towards her work, sitting down and jumping slightly when the girl slammed down the lid before he could get a good look at it.
“Eh, nothing really” she coughed awkwardly, flicking some hair out of her face “Just…homework”
He narrowed his eyes as she sat down next to him; he knew how to spot a bad lie and the girl seemed to be a worse than himself when it came to covering up something.
“Okay, so maybe I was…trying to hack Tony. But it’s no big deal” (Y/n) shrugged “He’s planning this surprise for my birthday and God, it’s killing me not knowing what it is. I just have to know!”
“But that’ll ruin all the stuff he has planned” Peter countered, realising his mistake after the words had left his mouth “Not that I know what he’s gonna do”
“Oh thank god, I was getting nowhere with the hacking” the girl grinned, moving her laptop to the other end of the bed before shuffling closer to him “Come on, spill!”
“I’ll never tell” he laughed, crossing his arms over his chest defiantly “So you’ll just have to torture me”
“I bet I could get you to crack” the girl boasted, rolling her eyes at his cockiness.
“Nah, there’s nothing you can do. These lips are sealed”
“Hmm” she leaned closer to him, an evil glint in her eyes “I have a few tricks up my sleeve”
Peter gulped as she brushed her nose against his own, letting out a nervous chuckle as she winked at him.
The boy had no time to wonder what would happen next as the door flew open, revealing a very unamused Tony standing in the doorway, arms folded with a death glare on his face. In an instant Peter threw himself across the room, leaning against a wall and letting out a shaky breath as he copied the mans stance.
“Oh h-hey Mr Stark” he smiled, not daring to look at anywhere but the floor as he stuttered “We were just”
“Save it” Tony held up his hand, making both teens wince.
“Sorry” (Y/n) muttered, playing with her hands “It won’t happen again”
“You’re damn right it won’t. Parker, back to your room” he rolled his eyes “I’m too young to be a god-grandpa”
“Yes, Sir”
Imagine trying to study with Remus, but you get bored...
(Y/n) let out a small grunt as she repositioned herself. The pair had been studying for what seemed like days now, pouring over their textbooks and practise questions until they couldn’t see straight. In reality it had only been a few hours, but as the girl fidgeted again - whilst on her seemingly never-ending attempt to get comfortable - she feared that she may have permanently changed the shape of her spine by the way she had been sitting hunched over. Letting out a frustrated groan she threw down her book in anguish, waking Remus out of his daydream and making the boy’s head snap in her direction.
“I’ve had enough” the girl got to her feet suddenly, kicking her textbook across the room as it landed next to her foot and glaring at it “We aren’t learning anything just sitting here and praying that the information is going into our heads”
“Well…” Remus frowned at her outburst “That is how you’re supposed to study, (Y/n)”
“Well whoever claims it works are liars and idiots” she held out her hand for him “Come on, let’s go do something productive”
“Eh, I don’t know. We should really try and get another few hours of work done”
“Just hear me out okay-“
“Why do I feel like whatever you’re going to suggest has nothing to do with helping us pass Charms?”
“We need brainpower, right? A little extra boost to help us not die of boredom?” she smiled innocently, the boy nodding in agreement and adjusting his glasses “So why don’t we go get some hot chocolate from the kitchens? Stretch our legs and get a sugary treat in the process?”
“(Y/n), love, it’s 1 in the morning” he used her pet name exasperatedly, shaking his head “We’re not even supposed to be in the Common Room right now, let alone wandering the corridors in search of a sugar fix”
“As if rule breaking is out of the question for you, Lupin” she scoffed, pouting out her bottom lip and batting her eyelashes “Come on! Let’s live a little”
The boy paused before answering, letting out a small sigh. He took her hand and stood up, chuckling as she let out a light squeal of excitement.
“And you’ll go back to studying as soon as we’re back?” he narrowed his eyes.
“Cross my heart”
Imagine Thor showing you his new abilities...
(Y/n) watched with fascinated, wide eyes as lines of blue lightning sparked around the man’s hands and arms, flashing all around his body.
“That’s so cool” she smiled, edging the small bit closer and noticing how her hair began to stand up slightly from the static radiating off him. She could hear a light crackling sound as she watched the trick, transfixed by the eerie but bright glow.
“Well they don’t call me the God of Thunder for no good reason” he teased, making the sparks dance, much to the girl’s amusement.
“Does it hurt?” she asked, holding out a tentative hand but drawing it back quickly when the lightning snapped at her.
“Not really” he shrugged, grinning at the amazed look on her face “It’s more of a light pinch mixed with a tickling sensation”
“Wow!”
She turned her attention to his eye, slightly caught off guard by the haunting emptiness of it. Turning her attention to the patch on the other side of his face, the girl couldn’t help but frown, wishing she had been there to help him. Without being able to stop herself, she reached up to cup his face, rubbing her thumb gently over his cheek and letting out a little sigh.
Slowly the lightning disappeared, and his eye returned to the familiar deep blue she had grown accustom to. Her own eyes drifted around his face, taking in his new haircut and faded scars and cuts that now covered his face, still healing from what had to be his biggest battle yet.
“You’ve changed so much since I’ve last saw you” (Y/n) hummed “On the outside at least. In here” she tapped his chest with her free hand “you’ve not changed one bit”
“You’re right, Lady (Y/n)” the god agreed, placing his larger hand over the girl’s and squeezing the fingers lightly, sending small jolts through her from the aftermath of the lightning “I’m still the same man, with the same feelings in his heart”
He leaned down, pressing a soft kiss on the girl’s lips before resting his forehead on her own, making the girl smile and let out a light breathy laugh.
EGGSY X READER - STAY
(Y/n) drummed her fingers on the table, listening to the boy babble on with mild interest. Even though they were barely old enough to drink, the pair had spent almost every Friday afternoon in the local bar together since they had met, chatting away and sneaking pints when the barman wasn’t watching. But this time it was different.
She couldn’t just lose herself in the mindless laughter of the room as she used to; ignoring the problem was not going to make it go away. She had to finally accept reality, and she cursed herself for not doing this sooner. She had been psyching herself up all week and couldn’t hold it off any longer, she had to come clean.
But looking at her friend’s happy face, she just couldn’t bear the idea of upsetting his good mood. She knew that like her, Eggsy lived a troubled life, and these little meet ups were a nice way to de-stress for both of them, to escape from all of their responsibilities and worries and just sit and act like normal kids. She wondered what he would do instead when she was gone.
“Hey, you alright?” The boy asked, reaching out to stop her tapping and taking her hand in his own “You’re being really quiet”
“If I’m honest...no” (Y/n) sighed, squeezing his hand and giving him a sad smile “We have to talk about some stuff. I’m gonna have to break the rule 3 about these meet ups”
“No serious shit should ever be discussed” he remembered fondly the day when the rules were made, but the reality of what would come next pulled him out of his nostalgic happy haze. He could feel it deep in his gut that something bad was going to happen.
“My dad…got into some trouble. It started with the rent for our flat, he couldn’t pay it and- Well if I’m honest, he hasn’t been able to pay it for ages, and at first I just picked up a few extra shifts at the café but…it just isn’t enough anymore. He tried to help by the only way he thinks he can and as I said, it landed him in trouble”
“And by trouble you mean?”
“He’s been arrested again, Eggsy” the girl sighed, looking away from his pitying gaze “For drugs of course, don’t know what else I could expect from the piece of shit…Anyway, I know don’t have a legal guardian that doesn’t already have a criminal record so…”
“So?”
“They’re sending me away” she whispered, letting go of his hand and leaning back in her chair “I’m being carted off to my Aunt. To god knows where!”
“When?”
“As soon as all the legal bullshit can get sorted, and before you ask I have no idea when I’ll be back ‘cause it all has to do with my dad’s trial and I doubt they’ll let him have custody ever again after this”
Tears began to fill up the young girl’s eyes but she refused to let them fall, sniffing and blinking madly as she tried to regain control over her emotions. Eggsy crossed his arms over his chest, looking away and muttering a string of curse words under his breath.
He found himself remembering the first time he had met her - she had a similar look of disappointment and despair on her face as she did in that moment. Sitting crumpled up on the stairs of their shared apartment block, the boy had come upon a girl around his age holding her herself in a tight embrace and crying softly into her knees, unruly hair falling all around the place. Even though his mother had asked him to hurry back with the milk and other things she had sent him out to get, he couldn’t bring himself to leave her sitting there like that. So after a lot of coaxing and bribing with a chocolate bar he had bought out of his own pocket money, the girl relaxed and finally stopped crying, instead laughing at his immature jokes and attempts to make her smile. She never did tell him why she was upset, or why her legs and arms were covered in bruises, but he had made her happy, and that was what was important. For that one small moment he had changed her day, made it brighter.
And so started the tradition of the Friday afternoon meetings on the steps, which soon progressed to Friday afternoon meetings in the bar as they got older. Over the years they had shared countless happy moments, both aware of the other’s difficult home life but never mentioning their struggles. They had created a few hours of sanctuary each week from their troubles. And now it was being ripped away from them.
“This could be it, Eggsy” she mumbled “This could be goodbye”
“I won’t let it be” he replied firmly, chewing at his lip as the girl got up from the table.
“I’m sorry, but I can’t do this. I can’t sit here and pretend it’s going to be okay” she sniffed, grabbing her coat and leaving a few coins on the table towards paying for their bill “I’ve got to go home and start packing”
“No!” he stood up, grabbing onto her wrist and pulling her back towards him “Stay”
“I can’t Eggsy, I-“
“Yes you can. You can move in with us, you don’t have to leave” he squeezed her hand “Think about it, my mum already has two kids who they haven’t even attempted to take away from her, so becoming your guardian will be easy enough. And it would mean you don’t need to leave your job, or your friends...or me. God, just think about it (Y/n), please!”
“I couldn’t ask you to do that for me” she shook her head “I don’t want to put your family under any more stress”
“My mum would love to have someone else to help around the house. And my sister adores you so she won’t care at all” he smiled “You can have my bed, I don’t mind sleeping on the couch or even the floor. Just please don’t leave me”
“You would really do all that for me?” she frowned “Let me move in with you? After everything I just told you about my dad?”
“Our parents don’t define us” he placed his other hand on his shoulder “And I would move the moon if it meant you could stay here. I can’t lose you too”
She paused before answering, a smile breaking out onto her face before the girl reached up to plant a kiss on his cheek.
“I’ll see what I can do”
Imagine being James’ sister and constantly impressing Remus and Sirius with the way you put him in his place...
“She’s clearly just so madly in love with me that she doesn’t know what else to do but break my nose” James huffed, head thrown back as he cleaned up the mess of blood on his face, Sirius watching him struggle with a smirk. Remus continued to study, pretending to ignore them both but rolling at his eyes at the comment.
“Afternoon gentlemen” (Y/n) walked through the common room door, nodding at both the boys before turning to her brother “Toad-breath”
“Hello darling sister” James huffed “Look at what your so called best friend did to my face”
“As far as I’m concerned you got off easy for the comment you made” the girl snorted “Besides, this facial remodelling may finally fix your never-ending stupidity when it comes to women; you’ll think twice before making an atrocious attempt at flirting like that again”
“Oh, it was atrocious alright” Remus agreed, not looking up from the book in his hands “He got everything he deserved”
“I merely said-“James began
“Good God don’t repeat it” the girl flinched, hitting him on the shoulder with Remus’ book and then landing a similar blow on Sirius, the boys letting out a small cry of pain “And you! If you ever put him up to anything like that again – because I know that my brother is his own personal brand of idiot, but there was no way he came up with that comment on his own – I will personally see to it you suffer a similar fate! Do I make myself clear?”
“Yes, ma’am” Sirius smirked up at her, earning another light hit on his shoulder.
“I’ve learned my lesson” James agreed, sniffing and then wincing.
“Sorry, Remus” the girl handed back the boy’s book with a sweet smile “How you surround yourself with such brainless twats I’ll never understand”
And with that she strutted off, both Remus and Sirius sharing a cheeky smile whilst James was too distracted with his nose to notice.
Imagine you accidentally discover that Peter is Spiderman...
“Holy shit!” (Y/n) squeaked, Peter covering her mouth quickly and slamming the door to his bedroom shut, muffing her next words “You’re Spiderman!”
“No, no, no” he shook his head frantically, letting go of her and escaping his suit, grabbing a soft jumper to hide his modesty “You’ve got it wrong, I- it’s just a costume”
“Bullshit!” she shook her head, grinning “A costume with fully functioning web shooters!”
She pointed towards the soda cans he had previously been shooting at – practising his aim, with no idea that his best friend had been standing directly behind him – which were now covered in gooey webs.
“It’s very…realistic”
“And the female robotic voice giving you encouragement?”
“Uh…an app on my phone”
“Okay, then how can you explain the abs Peter?” she pulled up his shirt, the boy swatting her away with blushing cheeks “You and I both know that you’ve never been one to exercise, let alone get ripped like this”
“I-”
“And the way you keep disappearing all the time...and all the random injuries! It all makes sense now!”
The boy gaped for a few seconds, mind whizzing but ultimately coming up blank, shrugging and nodding in agreement.
“Okay, yeah, you’ve got me there” he sighed “I’m Spiderman. But God, don’t tell anyone. Especially May, she’d lose it”
“Oh my God, this is so cool!”
Imagine Peter having a crush on you and your godfather (Tony) finds out...
“So…” Tony let out a long breath, narrowing his eyes “You like (Y/n)”
“Uh, what no- well not no- wait, um” Peter stuttered, not expecting the man’s words, cheeks flushing “I mean she-she’s great, and really pretty but-“
“Hold it” he held up his hand, stopping the boy’s rambling “Now, I honestly don’t know why but she seems to like you too-“
“She-She does!” he chocked, eyes blinking rapidly.
“So I thought I should just double check we’re on the same page” Tony continued, hiding his amusement at the shocked expression on the kid’s face “You’ll treat her right, okay? Because I don’t have time to deal with teenage drama and raging female hormones”
“Absolutely” Peter agreed quickly.
“And I don’t need to threaten you about what will happen if you don’t, right?”
“Right”
“Because you know that would be stupid and (Y/n) could beat the shit out of you without really trying if you didn’t”
Peter nodded quickly, well aware of the girl’s fiery temper and many years of mixed martial arts.
“Good luck then, kid” he squeezed the boy’s shoulder before getting out of the car.
Imagine bringing lemonade to Archie and Jughead whilst they’re working as a cute surprise...
Archie was the first one to spot her, coming down the road in front of them and carrying a tray in her stretched out hands.
“(Y/n)!” he called, waving and catching her attention. A light smile appeared on the young girl’s face and she hurried over to them, being careful not to spill anything from the large jug she had brought.
“Ain’t that a sight for sore eyes” Jughead smirked, sending the girl a cheeky smile as she arrived next to them.
“Hey, boys!” she smiled, making them both chuckle “You look like you could use a glass of this”
“You’re an angel” he grinned, gladly pouring himself and his friend two large glasses of lemonade, both gulping theirs down.
“Eh, it’s nothing” the girl shrugged “I just thought, seeing as I can’t do any of the heavy lifting, there were other ways I could help you out”
Just as she said this she noticed some of the other boys walking up the road, all looking sweaty and in need of a refreshment.
“Duty calls!” she chirped happily, and after giving both of them a kiss on the cheek she hurried off towards the other group.
STYDIA – HEARTBREAK GIRL
Stiles bolted upright at the loud noise of his phone echoing around his dark bedroom. He grumbled, tripping over various pieces of clothing -which were meant to be washed by now – before finally grabbing the small device and silencing its yells. He prayed he hadn’t alerted his father as he took the call, running a hand over his face.
“I swear to god Scott, if you’re wolfing out again-“
But Stiles never got to finish his sassy remark, as a voice that certainly wasn’t Scott’s interrupted him.
“What?” the girl hiccupped quietly.
He knew that voice.
“N-never mind Lydia, just some stupid inside joke” Stiles stuttered quickly. Letting out a long breath of air, he closed his bedroom door as silently as he could before going back over to his messy bed “So, what’s up?”
“He did it again”
“Oh”
You call me up, it’s like a broken record.
Saying that your heart hurts, that you never get over him getting over you.
“I just can’t, I can’t understand it…”
And with that Stiles started to drone out of the conversation, as he had heard all of this before. This was a regular occurrence, he could almost recite what she would say next.
“And then he said that I-“she never did finish that sentence – as her sobs drowned her words - but Stiles could imagine the kind of things he said. Stiles could imagine many things actually. He could imagine punching Jackson straight in the face for all the pain he’d cause Lydia. He could imagine running his hands through her strawberry blonde hair at night as she lay on his chest, aimlessly explaining her frustrating day to him. He could imagine how proud his father would be when he brought her home to meet him, when they moved in together, - in some small cheap apartment neither really liked - when they finally got married, when she announced her pregnancy in a fit of happy tears to him. Yes, he could imagine many things.
“Stiles?” she asked quietly.
“Yes?” he whispered, tears springing to his eyes.
“Am I doing the right thing? Or am I just being stupid? Or-“
And you end up crying.
“Lydia…”
“Yes?”
And I end up lying.
“Of course you’re doing the right thing…” he hardly even paid attention to the feverish words tripping out of his mouth, but he knew it was lies. All of it lies. But it was what he had to do.
Cause I’m just a sucker for anything that you do.
“Thanks Stiles, you always know what to say”
And when the phone call finally ends, you say “Thanks for being a friend”
Stiles smiled through the droplets rolling down his face.
“No problem. What are friends for, right?”
Each word pained him, but he knew she didn’t need the truth right now. He also knew he would have to repeat his words in only a few nights time.
And we’re going in circles again and again.
There was a silence from both of the pair, but neither hung up.
I dedicate this song to you, the one who never sees the truth, – that I can take away your hurt – heartbreak girl.
Hold you tight straight through the daylight, I’m right here.
“You’re the best stiles”
When ya gonna realise, that I’m your cure, heartbreak girl?

Hiya! 🤗 I just had an idea for Eggsy. What if his best friend has to move away and he remembers all the fun times he had with her? He obviously is in love and convinces her to stay? Michelle wouldn't mind her moving in. Thank you!
Sure my lovely, fab idea! I’ll get this up for you tomorrow xx
THOR X READER - WORTHY
(Y/n) let out a soft hum as she ran the duster over the table, her eyes still groggy from the early morning rise. She was an intern for Tony Stark, working for him in hopes that he may notice her knack for inventing and natural skill with mechanics and put them to good use. So far, he had only paid attention to her past experience and used that to his advantage – before taking up the internship she had helped out her mother as a maid. On top of her usual paperwork duties like all the other interns, she also had to clean up after the man’s parties, and the man had a lot of parties.
Stark had thrown what would be considered a small get together the night before, just the avengers present, but they had made such a mess that he had called her in the middle of the night, asking her to come in and sort it before they were all awake. Knowing from past experience that some of the members woke up just after sun rise – like Cap, as the alcohol never affected him - she had dragged herself out of bed a few hours later and made her way to the tower. She didn’t mind too much however, as this extra work had its perks. She had managed to form a close bond with the avengers from spending so much time with them, and often spent breakfasts with them after she had finished up. She had learned that the heroes were a lot more human than she had first thought, and had begun to enjoy this extra task, seeing it less as a chore and more of a treat.
The girl grabbed an empty beer bottle and an empty bag of chips, placing them into the bag at her feet. Luckily there were no spillages, so all she had to do was put away the rubbish and do a little light dusting. She carried on putting away the junk and dusting the table down, barely noticing the large familiar hammer placed right on the edge of the glass due to her sleep deprived brain.
Without thinking she lifted the weapon out of the way, dusting under where it had previously been and continuing her quiet humming as she clean away. Placing the hammer back she walked away from the table, going to sort the mess left in the kitchen.
When she was halfway there the realisation of what had just happened seemed to dawn on her, making the girl pause and turn back around to stare at the hammer with wide eyes.
Surely not.
She must’ve just imagined it.
Cautiously she tiptoed back over to the table, her hand wrapping around the handle as she took a few deep breaths.
It can’t hurt to try, right?
Slowly she pulled up, surprised by how light Mjölnir felt in her grasp, her heart in her throat as she raised up the mighty weapon to eye level.
“Holy shit” she whispered, jumping when a voice bellowed from behind her, the hammer slipping out of her grasp.
“Lady (Y/n), good morning-“ Thor smiled, waving slightly as the girl spun around to look at him with a terrified expression. His eyes widened as there was a loud crashing sound, the table smashing to pieces behind her.
“Sorry, I-I didn’t mean to” the girl reached down and picked up the weapon holding it out for him to take “Here”
“(Y/n)...uh, thank you” he gently took it from her, clasping her shoulder with his free hand “Fret not about the table, it will be easy to replace”
“Still, I feel bad” she laughed nervously “I came here to clean and I’ve made more of a mess”
“It’s alright, you were understandably surprised”
“Thor, what does this mean?” she motioned towards Mjölnir, biting at her lip.
“It means you are worthy” he replied simply, beaming down at her and making all of the nervous energy inside her fade away “Come, let us celebrate with Pop-Tarts”
JUGHEAD X READER - “PRETTY BOY”
Jughead walked into the library, letting out a small sigh as he fiddled with the broken zip on his bag to try and retrieve his book. He and Archie had still not made up from their fight during summer, and his pride was too large to go and try to resolve things. So instead of hanging out with his friends at lunch he had decided to go sulk someplace quiet, where he wouldn’t be bothered.
He looked towards the usual table he sat at, slightly taken aback there was another person already in his usual seat. The girl was someone he recognised vaguely, she had moved to Riverdale around a year ago but had kept to herself, so much so he really had to think hard to remember her name.
(Y/n)
She seemed to be a very cold person, but he could remember hearing her quick wit and sass as she fought against the jocks in the school when they stepped on her nerves and feeling some sort of solidarity by the way she snapped back. The two shared a common distaste for the way they treated people and had a very similar humour and tendency to use sarcasm as a weapon.
She was deeply focused on the book in her hands, her eyes reading feverishly, the lunch that sat in front of her on the table forgotten. Her hair was slightly falling in her face, but that didn’t hide the large purple and blue bruise on her upper cheek. It didn’t seem to be bothering her though, the girl acting as if nothing was wrong at all as she read away.
It did bother the boy however, he couldn’t draw his eyes away from the mark, his curiosity getting the better of him. He was so lost in wondering why it was there that he was caught off guard when the girl’s voice echoed around the quiet room.
“You see something you like, pretty boy?” she asked, not moving her eyes from her book but still smirking as Jughead jumped slightly.
“Are-Are…” He looked around for a second, frowning and clearing his throat “Do you mean me?”
“Well, there isn’t anyone else here staring at me”
“Sorry, it’s just…that looks sore” he sighed, motioning towards the bruise and moving closer “How did you get it?”
“By asking too many questions” her eyes darted up from her book, narrowing “You wanna match?”
“No thanks” He replied quickly, taking his seat and looking away from her, not wanting to anger her further. He couldn’t deny she was intimidating, despite the fact that there was quite a height difference between the two she gave off such a powerful presence that it scared him, and the way her (Y/ec) eyes had burrowed into his own made him squirm slightly.
“You’re friends with that Cooper girl aren’t you? And the red head?” (Y/n) asked, the boy nodding “So why aren’t you off bothering them, rather than distracting me?”
“We kinda drifted over summer” he mumbled, cheeks flashing a light pink at the confession “And they’re the only friends I’ve got so…”
“So you decided to escape the humiliation of your loneliness by hiding in the library?”
“Pretty much, yeah”
She hesitated for a second, before placing down her book.
“I guess I can live with that” the girl shrugged, motioning dramatically with her hand “Read away, be my guest”
“Thanks” he chuckled.
“No problem, pretty boy”
EGGSY X READER - MISUNDERSTANDING
(Y/n) had her heart in her stomach as she watched her boyfriend walk down the street from behind a corner. He had been distant from her for about a month now, sneaking off at night from their shared apartment and disappearing for days on end. He had always had a slight private nature, keeping to himself mostly and never disclosing enough information to truly know him or get a full picture of the kind of guy he was. But with (Y/n) something was different; he was much more vulnerable around her, a softer side of him shown when they were alone together.
She knew he had a rougher upbringing than her, and although he didn’t enjoy discussing it, he had with her. He had told her everything about his life – well, at least that’s what she believed – opened up about his true feelings and fears, pushed away that wall he had placed up and shown her a real person. It made her feel special that he would choose her out of countless others to trust. But now he was drawing back into himself again. And she wanted to know why.
It had started small at first; he couldn’t spend a few nights with her as he usually did after his work as he had to work late, then the weekends were also off the table. They instead talked on the phone for a few hours, the man sounding very run down and tired but brushing it off whenever she asked him if he was okay. Then he started to draw back even further, missing countless planned dates and little meet ups. Soon he stopped calling, she hadn’t had a text from him in at least a week, and at that point the girl had decided that enough was enough and she was going to get to the bottom of things. She devised a plan to track him the next day from when he left the tailor shop, snooping in on what he was really up to and then she would confront him if he was lying later on.
A large part of her was terrified of what she might found out as she tracked him around London, but her curiosity and determination were too overbearing to stop her, the girl following close behind every move he made that day until he finally stopped.
(Y/n) played with her hands as she watched Eggsy cross the road to meet an attractive young woman, wrapping his arms around her and placing a kiss on her cheek. Jealously flared in the girls stomach, but she tried desperately to brush it away. This could be an old friend, who he’s not seen in many years, and-
The girl paled as she watched them walk into an expensive jewellers next to them.
Okay, so maybe she is helping him pick out something nice for his mum. And he didn’t ask me to him because…well, because…
Her train of thought trailed off. There was no reason why he wouldn’t bring her there, no logical one in her mind at least. She was the woman who held him after he had a nightmare, rubbing his back and kissing the top of his head until he could breathe without crying anymore. She was the one who he cooked with on an early Sunday morning, listening to old fifties music and she was the one who he swung around the kitchen as they danced clumsily, laughing and singing at the top of their lungs. She was the one he claimed to love.
Unless…
Unless I’m not that one anymore.
She couldn’t help herself, walking out of her hiding spot and right to the shop window, peering in with clouding eyes. Eggsy and the woman stood in front of a mirror, and he was carefully placing a very expensive looking necklace on her, the woman placing her left hand over her heart as she watched him with lovesick eyes. On that hand, clear as day, was a large sparkling diamond.
Eggsy turned to glance out of the window and the two locked eyes, all the colour draining from his face as he cursed quietly.
That was all the girl needed to finally put the puzzle pieces together. He wasn’t staying late for work or too busy to come and spend time with her because he was doing so much overtime, he had fallen in love with another woman and didn’t have the guts to tell her. Or even leave her properly. He had merely distanced himself, faded out of her life.
(Y/n) refused to cry, even though her throat burned and her eyes were filling quickly. Instead she clenched her jaw and walked away from the sight, pulling her coat closer to her body as she stormed down the street. Her legs wobbled so much from the shock however that she couldn’t get away fast enough, ignoring the voice that called after her as she rushed down the street.
She made random turns, not focusing on where she planted her feet until she collided with a hard chest, looking up in fright as she was pushed back.
“Oh, sorry” she mumbled, trying to walk past the large man “I wasn’t paying attention”
“It’s okay, (Y/n)”
The use of her name made the girl froze, narrowing her eyes as she studied the man closer.
“Sorry do I know you?-” she felt a sharp pain in the back of her head and was forced to her knees, eyes closing against her will as she dropped to the ground.
“No, it seems you don’t” the man replied, (Y/n) just hearing his response before she lost consciousness.
***
The mission was simple, pose as a rich young man and his fiancé, infiltrate the gangs headquarters – which was cleverly disguised as a simple jewellers – plant the bug behind the counter by placing it on the necklace and get out. Everything was well thought out, right down to the pair of socks he would be wearing, but no one had taken in to account the very inquisitive (Y/n), who was too curious and loving for her own good. As soon as the two had locked eyes, Eggsy disregarded everything he had been taught. He knew that he should simply look away and ignore her, but he couldn’t bring himself to betray her like that.
So instead he stopped what he was doing and rushed to open the door, calling out for her as she ran down the street, his heart breaking as he saw how much pain she was in.
“(Y/n)?” Roxy frowned, moving towards him “Who the hell-“
“She’s the girl I’ve been seeing, and-shit, she doesn’t know” He groaned “Fuckin hell, this is gonna be hard to explain”
“I think we have bigger issues to worry about than your love life” Roxy motioned towards the men flooding into the room from a secret door hidden in the wall. Whilst they were distracted the woman behind the counter had pressed the panic button, alerting the gang that something was wrong, and now the members filled the small shop, shutters closing over the windows and the door locking on its own, trapping them.
“Your fiancé is right, agent” The gang leader smirked “Spike, with me” he motioned towards a hulking man with a large bat in his hand “We should go check that little lady made it home okay. The rest of you can stay here and get acquainted”
“No!” Eggsy cried, charging forward to try and stop them from leaving through the secret door but falling down harshly when a gang member pulled him back, kicking at his ribs whilst he was down. He had no choice but to try and fight his way to the door, and try as they might, the pair of Kingsmen were ultimately overpowered and knocked out.
Eggsy’s last thought was (Y/n). He wondered how terrified she was at that moment.
He wondered if she was alive enough to still feel fear.
***
Another punch landed on the side of Eggsy’s face, the man turning and spitting out the pool of blood that had collected in his mouth before grinning up at the gang leader with a cheeky smirk.
“Is that the best you’ve got?” he snorted, trying to fight against his instinct to wince “Surely you can do better”
He had Roxy had been brought to some shady abandoned building, and were now being interrogated for any information that would be beneficial to the villains best interest. Roxy was still unconscious, so they had been working on just Eggsy for around twenty minutes now, the agent refusing to give anything but sass to the man.
And he was beginning to grow impatient.
“Not in the slightest” the gang leader shrugged, sending him a wicked smile “Should I go show your little girlfriend, huh? Make her scream out for help? Make her beg for you to save her-?”
He was stopped from his threats by a loud thumping sound, a look of surprise coming over his face before he dropped to the ground, a crumpled mess. Behind him, brandishing a large baseball bat, clothes torn and blood staining the soft material, was (Y/n). She was breathing heavy, the traces of a thick rope still attached to her wrist swinging as she lowered her weapon.
“I’m a lot tougher than I look” she chuckled, wiping the small splat of blood that had landed on her face and tossing away the bat “It would be in your best interest not to underestimate me again, Unwin. Total transparency from now on”
“Yes, ma’am”
“You have a lot of explaining to do mister”

JUGHEAD X OC - WREAK HAVOC (PART 2)
(PART 1)
Olivia lay stretched out on her friend’s bed, watching her adjust her makeup and fix her hair for what seemed like the hundredth time, letting out a small sigh. The original intent for this meet up – for her at least – was to catch up with her friends and finally get the ball rolling on her plan to make her chaotic life a little less lonely, but the whole evening the conversation kept drifting towards why Betty Cooper was sat perched by her vanity, fussing over her appearance; Archie Andrews.
Now, she loved her brother, but she feared that he was as clueless to the blonde’s romantic inclination towards him as a goldfish was to physics. And therefore, she just couldn’t get behind the big confession that Betty was determined to make, too worried about the girl’s feelings being hurt than to share in the growing buzz of the room. Kevin Keller, was on the complete other end of the emotional spectrum however.
“Are you excited? Nervous?” the boy asked, watching Betty fix her ponytail with a smirk.
“Both” Betty sighed blissfully, the pair chuckling as she spun around to smile at him “I haven’t seen him all summer”
“Which is why nerves are acceptable, but we agreed, Betty. It’s time. You like him. He likes you”
“Well, then why, Kevin, hasn’t he ever said or done anything?” she pointed at him with her blush brush.
“Because, Archie’s swell…” he chose his next words carefully - very aware that his over-protective sister was present - , getting up from the bed they shared as a precaution to the warning look she sent him “But like most millennial straight guys, he needs to be told what he wants, so tell him. Finally”
“Well. We’ll see. I mean it depends” Betty turned towards her female friend, a worried look in her eye “What do you think, Oli? Do you think I should tell him? How will he react?”
The ginger paused before she spoke, not wanting to hurt the girl but also wanting to prepare her in case her suspicions were correct.
“I think it doesn’t matter how he reacts, because your feelings are valid Betty. You need to get it out there, or the not knowing and hiding will just drive you insane. You’ve got to be honest with him, and even if he doesn’t feel the same way about you, you’d still want to be his friend, right?”
“Of course!”
“Oh, my God” Kevin exclaimed, peering out the window with wide eyes.
“What?” Betty frowned, returning her attention to the boy.
“Game changer” he gawked at his view – the view of a very shirtless Archie who was also getting ready for the meet-up – the girls getting up to join him “Archie got hot. He’s got abs now. Six more reasons for you to take that ginger bull by the horns tonight”
“Ew gross” Olivia grimaced “I did not want that image in my head”
“And when were you going to mention this dramatic transformation, you snake?” Betty hit the girl lightly on her shoulder, the ginger letting out a surprised cry of pain.
“Oh you know me, I love a shocking twist. I thought I would let you discover it on your date. Now get away from the window, both of you. If Arch saw you in that pink bra I think he would die of embarrassment”
***
After sending Betty off on her mission and parting ways with Kevin, Olivia found herself sitting on her windowsill, head pressed against the glass as she hid away from her father’s worried watching. She had tried sitting in the living room with him and Vegas, the TV on and both of their heads turned in that general direction but neither paying attention to what they saw or what was being said, too caught up in their own minds. She could sense that that long dreaded serious talk was hanging in the air, so she feigned tiredness and gave the man a large hug and kiss on the head as compensation, before retreating to her little sanctuary.
Now her little lie seemed to hold more truth than she had originally thought, her head drooping slightly and her mind drifting into a blank nothingness. That was of course until she heard a rustling from the vines and bushes just outside, and some quiet cursing. Letting out a small sigh of amusement she got up from her comfortable position and opened the window, sticking out her head and grinning down at the figure clinging onto the side of her house for dear life.
“Hey Romeo, still not afraid of broken bones I see?” she called, watching her volume as to not alert her father of the intruder.
“Oh please, I would get a sprain at most” Jughead scoffed, gladly accepting her hands as she helped him up the last part of the climb and into the room.
“Well remind me to get that ladder from out of the garage, so then there’s no risk of a hospital visit” Olivia grinned, shutting the window before creeping over to her door and closing it as quietly as she could “So what brings on this little surprise. Here to break me out?”
“No late night adventures tonight, princess” the boy shook his head, slipping off his shoes and flopping onto her bed “I was on my way home from work and I thought I could squeeze in a power nap before I trek back”
“Well, it’s gonna have to be super quick, we have school tomorrow” She smiled, sitting down next to him and slipping off his beanie, tangling her fingers gently in the dark strands of his hair.
“Ugh, you’re so studious it’s aggravating” he hummed, letting out a content sigh as she played with the mop on his head “No more talk of school, it’ll only depress me more”
“Fine, school is vetoed” she agreed, twisting a particularly long strand up with a slight chuckle “You’re well overdue for a cut, mister. It’s a wonder you can see through this mess”
“Nah, it’s okay. I kinda like it long. I think it makes me look ruggedly handsome, don’t you?”
“Eh, that isn’t the word choice I would use” she teased, making the boy look up at her with narrowed eyes “But if you’re happy to keep it this length then fine. It’s your hair, your problem”
“Besides, when it’s short you can’t play with it like this” he continued, moving up so he lay his head on her thigh and closing his eyes as he enjoyed the attention.
“You make a valid point” the girl nodded “How else can I practice my braiding skills?”
“And there dies the last fraction of my masculinity, with a whimper and a French braid”
Olivia let out a quiet laugh, the pair falling into a comfortable silence as she continued to fuss him.
“I really am sorry Jug, for abandoning you all like that”
“It’s okay, you have a decent alibi so I’m willing to overlook it”
“No, I’m serious” she stopped playing with his hair, the boy sitting up and locking eyes with her “Even before I went away with my mom, I kept pushing you all away. And I’m sorry”
He smiled at the genuine look of guilt on her face, edging closer to wrap his arms around her in a tight hug.
“All is forgiven, Oli” he murmured “Well, it will be once I get that last milkshake you owe me”
***
Olivia stood in front of the mirror, adjusting the pink and white shirt she had just thrown on and letting out a nervous chuckle. This was it, the final push back into reality. She was really going back to that hellhole, and planned on pushing through it by the skin of her teeth if she had to, mentally preparing herself for all the fake smiles and dull chit chat she would have to make over the next few months. One thing she knew for certain, was that high school was not going to defeat her. It may have knocked her down momentarily, but now she was back in the ring and fighting strong.
She only had one specific goal for that day, and it was to talk and apologise to Cheryl for her recent lack of contact – she had been the only one to not respond to the girl’s texts after she had got back and she intended to set things right with her. The two had grown to have a mutual amount of respect for the other, and now the ginger feared that that almost friendship was torn to shreds by her disappearance. But that morning, instead of the normal feeling of dread, she felt a fiery passion stirring within her, a new found energy to fix the mess she had created, starting with Cheryl Blossom. Her little night spent relaxing with Jughead had been a real morale boost.
“Any small battle is a victory”
She hummed the mantra ingrained in her head as she walked down the stairs, following just behind her brother who seemed equally as angsty to get back to school as she was.
“Hey Dad. First day of school and I’m already late” He called, glancing at his phone as he rushed ahead, bending down quickly to greet the faithful dog waiting for them “Hey Vegas”
“Correction, we are late” Olivia chimed in “Like we are, every day. Why did you sound surprised?”
The pair walked into the kitchen, grabbing their things from the table and passing the correct books to the other in a practised act, their father walking through, usual red mug in hand.
“Hey, you uh stopping by the site later?” he asked his son.
“Dad, it’s my first day” Archie countered, stuffing his notebooks into his bags whilst Olivia ran to grab a bottle of water from the fridge.
“We gotta get you going in the office, so next summer you’re not on the crew”
“Well, I-I can’t” Archie shook his head, lying smoothly as he swung his backpack over his shoulders “I’ve got football try-outs. Or is that not okay?”
“No, no. It’s uh…okay” Fred nodded in understanding, smiling slightly “Good luck”
“If you need extra hands, I could always help you out dad” Olivia offered, feeling bad about the slightly disappointed look in the man’s eyes. Clearly, the two had spent almost the whole summer working together, and now it seemed he was going to miss out on that bonding time to school and Archie’s real interests.
“As kind as that offer is, you can barely lift this table” her father chuckled, motioning in front of him with a sly smirk.
“You’re right, but don’t say I didn’t offer” she agreed, placing a quick kiss on his cheek as she walked by him “See you later”
Archie gave his father one last smile before following after the girl, waiting until they were a safe distance from the house before she turned to him.
“So I’m guessing you haven’t told him about your new found love for the old six string yet” Olivia pressed, noticing his discomfort instantly as the subject was brought up.
“Yeah, and I would appreciate it if you didn’t either”
“Don’t worry, these lips are sealed”
They moved on to more light-hearted topics before finally parting ways when they reached the school halls. Olivia began her search for Cheryl but came up empty handed, wondering if the girl had decided to take the day off due to her grief. However, in her wanderings she did manage to find Kevin, the two walking the corridors and chatting away until they spotted Betty a few paces ahead of them talking with a girl she didn’t recognise.
“Is that the-?” she began.
“Hot new girl?” Kevin finished, looking the brunette up and down quickly before taking his friend’s hand and rushing over to them “I believe so”
“So, what’s the social scene like here?” the new girl asked “Any nightclubs?”
“A strip club called to Ho Zone and a tragic gay bar called Innuendo” he interrupted, rushing ahead of the pair and pulling Olivia with him, a bright smile flashed on his face as they walked backwards “Friday night’s football games and then tail-gate parties at the Mal-Mart parking lot-“
“I’m sorry” Olivia smiled to Betty as the blonde rolled her eyes “I tried to control him”
“Saturday night is movie night, regardless of what’s playing at the Bijou” Kevin continued unfazed, not even pausing to breathe “And you better get there fast because we don’t have reserved seating in Riverdale. And Sunday nights?”
He stopped, clasping onto Betty as she chuckled at the new girl’s delighted expression.
“Thank God for HBO” the boy concluded, his friend pulling out of his embrace and motioning towards him.
“Veronica Lodge, Kevin Keller” Betty grinned “Veronica’s new here, Kevin is-“
“Gay. Thank God” Veronica interrupted, shaking his hand quickly “Let’s be best friends”
“The quiet, polite one is Oli” Betty motioned towards the girl, the ginger waving slightly.
“Is it true what they say about your dad?” Kevin asked, unable to stop himself, Betty sending him a warning glare to drop the subject.
“That he’s the devil incarnate?” Veronica nodded, crossing her arms over her chest “I stand by my father. Does everyone here know?”
“Well I sure don’t” Olivia admitted “But I’m usually clueless, so no change there”
Veronica sent her a quick thankful smile before turning to the other two, both pulling strange faces as they tried to think of the best way to soften the blow.
“Wonderful” Veronica huffed “Ten minutes in and I’m already the Blue Jasmine of Riverdale High”
The girl stomped away, Betty turning to glare at Kevin before following after her.
“What?” he shrugged, scoffing as Olivia waggled her finger at him “Oh don’t give me that look”
Luckily after a few minutes of awkward talking, Betty explaining things about the school and the other two chiming in with quick witted responses, Veronica was eased out of her mood and soon they were all joking as if they were old friends.
“Oh, and of course, there’s the back to school-semi-formal-dance this weekend-“
Betty was interrupted by a sharp gasp, Veronica pulling her close to her side when she noticed a familiar face.
“There’s the hottie you were with last night” she whispered, watching him with hungry eyes “The red headed Ansel Elgort. Is he your boyfriend?”
“No, we’re just friends” Betty answered as Kevin simultaneously chimed in with “No, he’s straight”
“And he’s my brother, so can we keep the hottie comments to a minimum please” Oli screwed up her face in disgust.
“Hm, in that case mind putting in a word?” Veronica smiled as they began walking once again “I’ve tried every flavour of boy but orange”
“Actually to clarify…” Kevin interjected “Betty and Archie aren’t dating but they are endgame”
“You should ask him to the semi-formal then” Veronica nodded in Betty’s direction.
“She should, but I heard it might be getting cancelled. Because of what happened to Jason. They’re gonna tell us at the assembly”
“Who’s Jason and what happened to him?”
They paused for a brief moment to explain, not going into too much detail as they could tell by the empty nature of the hallway that the assembly was about to start, the small group making their way into the hall and taking their seats.
At the mention of the boy’s name, Olivia had felt her stomach tighten into knots, reminding the girl of her failed attempt to reconnect with her hurting friend. She hadn’t been there for Cheryl, but she could only hope the girl would forgive her in time, and that she could be there to support her now.
Any small battle is a victory.
Any small battle is a victory.
She continued to repeat the words in her mind, to try and fight against the overwhelming and louder sentence that had settled there.
Wishful thinking gets you nowhere.
