Kyoei Joy - as your partner.
they are fucking insufferable. absolutely annoying as shit. you have free time? guess what. so do they.
and they spend the entire time ragebaiting you like an asshole. poking you, trying to steal your phone, etc.
they're especially annoying if you read on your phone with a scroll, like ao3 or tumblr. they will absolutely swipe up on your screen just to make you lose your place. if you aren't paying enough attention to them, they will also start reading whatever is on your screen out loud.
they're also kinda sweet, despite how annoying they are.
they love talking to you, asking you about your day, your hobbies, things you like. deep conversations are especially common; about life, death, people, whatever is bothering them at the moment.
they have a terrible memory but if you really like or dislike something, they'll try to remember it as best as they can and when you eat out, they'll always make sure you don't get something you dislike and will offer to trade if you don't like your food.
they hate touching people and holding hands, but they'll rearrange their entire pokemon center for your comfort, and refuse to acknowledge it. they're fairly shy about efforts getting noticed and will brush off your thanks if you try.
because of their work as a SAR and Nurse Joy, they don't have a lot of free time on their hands; a handful of day-offs, a weekend if you're really lucky, but if you ask to do something, they will absolutely arrange their schedule around it. if its something spontaneous, they're a little more hesitant.
their pokemon are fairly creepy at first, but they warm up to you shortly after. yin and yan will absolutely drag you into their shenanigans and kyuei will personally patch you or your pokemon up.
venenum has mixed feelings about you when you first meet, but ultimately she ends up liking you for how happy you make kyoei.
Eurydice Archangel - as your partner.
she's fairly affectionate, despite how she acts around kyoei and uzyar, she feels emotions very strongly and she wears her heart on her sleeve. she loves like she battles, with gusto and too little eloquence to explain.
she grew up fairly sheltered, and was taught not to show too much of herself so it doesn't get used against her, but she would never choose to hide your relationship unless you asked her to. in fact, she would happily talk ANYONE'S ear off about you if you don't ask her to shut up.
she shows her love by buying you literally anything you want. anime pins? you got it. new limited edition thing you want? she'll buy it off a reseller at twice the price if she has to. food you want to try? she'll foot the bill. going somewhere and you like the food? she'll get a tab and tell you to just put whatever you buy on.
she's not the most physically affectionate, actually she actively avoids it if she can. mostly because she's quite strong and could probably crush you if she got a little too excited. forgive her, her only playmates when she was a child were dragons.
she will absolutely take you on a flight on her dragonite, aristotle, if you want to. her confidence in her skills is practically overflowing. if you have a pokemon who you fly on, she'll challenge you to a race and give you a kiss after, win or lose.
she has photographic memory so she knows what restaurants, shops, and stuff you like off the top of her head. she tries her best to get you flowers every week if you're not allergic, and sometimes she'll miss one and double the bouquet the next week. pray she doesn't miss too many weeks or else she's pulling up with those crazy big bouquets.
if you are allergic, she'll get you fake flowers with those fuzz stuff or even crochet flowers. she's a very dedicated person, but she'll stop if you ask her to.
her pokemon LOVE you. all of them do. dragons tend to be very territorial and extremely possessive of their trainers, but they like you a lot, probably because you're the first person who doesn't expect her to be the 'perfect' noblewoman other than kyoei.
the one who likes you the most is absolutely her partner, aristotle. aristotle will hog you from her if she's too busy with work to pay attention to you. very cuddly girl.
Uzyar Auclair - as your partner.
He's a very sensitive partner and he hates confrontations, so you will find him sulking over a conversation he fucked up and want kisses for it.
he's one of the more clingy characters, and he loves spending time with you. he will quite literally dodge work if it means he can hang around you.
his favorite way of showing love is through song, so don't be too embarrassed if you find his notebook filled with half finished songs about how much he loves spending time with you and how he wishes he could find you in every universe. something disgustingly sappy.
if you have a favorite music genre, he'll write a song in that genre for you, even though he's an electro/rock singer. hell, if you have a favorite pop song, he'll turn it rock if you want him to.
he loves any sort of guitar and has a collection of them, really. if you ask to borrow one, he'll be hesitant, but he'll let you borrow his favorite one—a black and white electric guitar that he got from kyoei a while back.
mentioned before, he's a very sensitive person despite his rough and tough looking exterior. he doesn't like arguing with you and will often let you choose for him. he would quite literally prefer sitting on burning hot coal than disagree with you.
but don't get me wrong, he's not passive about disagreeing with people. he's the fastest to flee relationships after kyoei. if he sees something that goes against his morals, no matter how much he loves you, he will just suddenly break up with you and run away to another region like a coward.
if you seek him out even after that to ask for an explanation, he'll apologize for running off and explain why he did it along with how he felt. he'll even apologize for hurting you, but he won't get into a relationship with you again.
takeru will quite literally be your best friend if that happens though, the guy knows uzyar the best and if you really wanna get back with uzyar, takeru will put in a good word for you and argue with uzyar until he relents and lets you explain.
Takeru Ukiyo - as your partner.
holy shit. the only other securely attached individual in this god forsaken lineup? great pick. (the other one is eurydice)
despite being one of the most competent people on the planet, he does have a temper problem, so he will just be angry cleaning for like 40% of your relationship. he's gotten better over the years, but the angry cleaning does not change. at least your place is spotless?
takeru works basically fucking everywhere, so if you want discounts on anything, ask him and he'll give you coupon codes and discounts for miles.
as someone who works everywhere at all hours of the day, hes basically always away and rarely has time for you. if you like presents? great! he gets a lot of those for you. if you like quality time, you're not getting much except like the 2 hours out of his 10 hours (8 of which he's asleep for)
not the ideal partner because of how little time he spends, but he does make sure you know he loves you.
also if you go literally anywhere, the chances are you'll see him working anyway, so like it feels less like he has no time for you and more like you two keep bumping into each other while he's at work and he'll bring you stuff on his break or even give you a discount.
he's not very sappy but he'll bring you flowers and brighten up your mood as much as he can if you're having a bad day.
and no, even if you ask him, he will never stop taking jobs. there is no rhyme or reason to it, he loves working no matter what job it is. at this point his hobbies are applying for jobs and getting fired.
he does gain a disgusting amount of experience from it though. he knows a lot of random shit, and how to do random shit. pipe broken? he's the plumber. need a cook? shit, he's the chef. want to get a job somewhere? he'll help you get into it no problem.
as for dates, as sparse as they are, they are always catered to your taste. mention something you want to do or go see? he'll take you there no problem. he's not the most creative, but he does listen and notice what you like and don't like.
Chesil Auclair - as your partner.
the only one who doesn't really give anything as your partner. she grew up as a noble, what do you expect?
if anything she's the one expecting flowers, gifts, and attention. she's very much a "traditional" kind of girl where she expects you to be the one giving and supporting her while she's staying home living in luxury.
chesil is a very volatile and cruel person, and that extends to you as well. even if she likes you, she still likes seeing you struggle and frustrated with her more, so if you can't handle that, it's not worth the trouble.
despite being more traditional, if you ever express distaste for her idea of a relationship and push for more 50/50 on stuff, she will be a little more inclined to listen and give you things too.
she's very into cliche coffee shop dates, movie dates, etc. she's barely had any friends growing up, much less a partner, so all of her ideas of romance come from romance books or movies. worst of all; shakespeare's romeo and juliet. she may try to poison you. be careful.
her pokemon don't really care about you, her espeon is very inclined to piss you off by throwing shit around though. its easier to ignore it because if you get pissed at it, it'll start playing the victim and chesil won't bother disciplining her pokemon even if you tell her.
chesil is a very lonely person, having you as both her first human friend and first partner, she's not sure how to act around you except antagonize you as much as she can to get your attention.
she hates being pitied, so if she ever senses that you feel bad for her because she's a double amputee, she will be extremely pissed at you. just acknowledge it and move on, she doesn't like when the attention is on her lack of legs rather than her.
she's a very emotionally laborious partner, and if you're too much of a pushover, she will just keep asking and asking and asking until you have nothing left to give. and by then, she'll have gotten bored of you.
a healthy relationship with her is a very slim thing, especially with how insecure she is of herself and the relationship, but as long as you're steadfast and can hold your own against a barrage of cruelty, you'll get there. eventually.
chesil and eurydice are really clingy in the morning. it's almost guaranteed i won't get out of bed until 11 in the morning if they're staying at the clinic.

yeah you can ship basically any of my ocs with kyoei since they're canonically agender. eurydice and takeru are kind of exceptions to the "feel free to ship any of my ocs tgt" tho bc they're homosexuals (eurydice is a lesbian, takeru is a gay man), also, yes i will draw the line at chesil x uzyar. meanwhile fucking UZYAR over here had to have BOTH HIS FIRST AND LAST NAME CHANGED. brother went from: apsephion uzyar -> uzyar apsephion -> uzyar ryuunosuke -> uzyar auclair. MANS WAS A FUCKING STRUGGLE EVEN IN KIA. no wonder he wasn't supposed to be in tdiryf.
eurydice had the second least changes from eurydice d'avaris -> eurydice d. archangel. this one also has lore though, because there was another reboot i was planning that fell through (dont remember what it was called js know it was a gacha series) where eurydice and chesil merged into a character called cyrille archangel/seraphim or something?? i think i have the file somewhere but idk so thats why eury ended up w the last name archangel.
chesil had another small change as well, from chesil cherubim -> chesil auclair. no notes here, she just lost her angel/religion aesthetic.
takeru has some of the bigger changes too. takerushi osamu -> takeru ukiyo. takeru was a gag character and i wanted to make an osamu dazai joke so thats why his last name was osamu.
