(via Chess robot grabs and breaks finger of seven-year-old opponent | Chess | The Guardian)
“The robot broke the child’s finger,” Sergey Lazarev, president of the Moscow Chess Federation, told the TASS news agency after the incident, adding that the machine had played many previous exhibitions without upset. “This is of course bad.”
“This is of course bad.” In case you weren’t sure, maybe that was the idea to rough up the kid, get an edge?

Chess Robot with Steam Deflection and Rotation
Here i decided to test the steam in motion. Chessrobot with Steam- First Test- SuperSpray
Probably my final solution for steam as I'm extremely happy with the effect this SuperSpray solution creates. Some final rigging to do and tweaking of elements. But after texturing and lighting, I will be ready to animate.
