Progress for tonight. Unable to decide on colors for their wings. Hopefully inspiration will come soon!

Meet azurite with malachite! (Azurite is also called chessylite, and the combination is also called azurite-malachite) Azurite is actually a major component in lapis lazuli, a very famous rock (mostly because of Steven Universe, I think). In ancient times, azurite was known as kuanos or “deep blue,” and this word became the root word for cyan. The term ‘chessylite’ comes from a type locality found in the Chessy-les-Mines in Lyon, France.
For those of you interested in crystal healing, azurite is the conductor of energy and help heal physical diseases.
