something no one tells you when you have a chest reduction is that your boobs/pecs will randomly feel like tv static- not like when your foot falls asleep but like when you put your hand on the tv and you could feel the static through the screen

oh also you can feel your nerves repair themselves and that feels like needles btw

Hi y'all! This is a fundraising post 🙂.

My uninsured roommate has needed a breast reduction for years and, after encouragement from friends, has finally made a GoFundMe to help get it done. Their description of the issues they deal with because of the size of their chest may sound jokey and funny, but they really do suffer from regular pain and breathing issues due to the weight of their chest.

Getting this one procedure done has the potential to improve their health dramatically, potentially to the point of being able to work more (blegh capitalism) and thus improve their entire financial situation. They don't expect to meet their goal immediately, but would instead simply appreciate any help they can get.

My GP applied for NHS funding a week or so ago and I have no idea how long it could take to be approved, *if* I get approved. I guess we’ll have to appeal if they don’t approve it because there is no way I can keep living like this. I had so much pain on the three training days, just from sitting down and not being able to keep a decent posture. I had to try to rest my chest on the table, without everyone else noticing, for crying out loud! :(
