Hello! About your recent post, I've also heard "chest wall abnormality" used to describe these differences, is that also an appropriate term to use (unlike deformation)? Sorry if my message doesn't make sense, English isn't my first language.

abnormality is a medical term. meaning that in scientific literature, something may referred to as abnormal (like a test result or the structure of a bone) and that is an acceptable description in that context (unlike deformity/deformation/malformation, which are also widely used in medical lit but harmful regardless of the context). however it's not an acceptable way to refer to an individual.

the medical phenomena may be referred to as a chest wall abnormality, but if you are referring to people you would call it a chest wall difference or any other specific term that describes them (that they want to be called) without using the above words i just told you not to say. if you don't want/need to be specific you can just say disability, especially because there are very few person-oriented conversations about chest wall differences happening on the internet.
