Chestplate Progress

It only took 7 hours, 2 bags of backerod and gluesticks, and a coat of hot glue webs, but I'm finally done with the detailing for the chestplate.

Now I gotta remove all the glue bits and seal it.

Then I gotta start on the back half of the chestplate.

Backplate?

Buttplate?

Armor Update

Oh yeah... I didn't finish that...

So you know that chest plate from last year I almost finished?

Yeah, I chucked it.

It was starting to turn out more like a sci-fi bullet proof vest than a cuirass. So I decided to start over.

Also had to make another template.

This time, it's not going to be one piece. It's going to be the front and the back plate held together with leather straps over the shoulder (like real armor). I've got the basic shape down, so now i'm just decorating it until I can get all fitted.

We're going to need a lot more backrod.
