Finished sculpting a hideous lump for Turnip 28. It's my first proper sculpture, the anatomy's dubious and it took quite a while, but I'm really pleased.

Platformer I
A new junk sculpture, made mostly from a printer that failed me for the last time.
Check out my lump
I built my lancer's Blackbeard out of plastic garbage and broken gundam kits! I've been steadily working on it since late September and I'm super excited to have finally finished!!
Some details I really like are:
the omni harpoons are wrapped around the waist. the chains are hard to see, even in real life, but they're in there! The yellow spikes sticking out above the hips are the harpoon tips
the chain axe is made from a BIC ballpoint pen. the blade is made of paper, that is inside the plastic
the caution stripe cables are made of the straps from medical grade masks
i carved my own, teeny, tiny stencil to make the emblem
the numbers on the sword are the numerical flags on sprue! i think it's so silly that my pilot has this fancy ass nano-carbon sword and they chose too sloppily rivet embossed sheet metal into it.
I made this tank out of post-it notes.
Finished that adjudicating fellow from the soul game (that I accidentally reblogged here a couple times). You can see the build here if interested.
Bream and the Submarine
Hiya! I'm back!! Woo!!!
For a very, very, very long time, I have been obsessed and enamoured by deep sea creatures. I haven't stopped thinking about the Bigfin squid since I first saw a photo of it. So cool. Makes me wanna jump in one of those little orb submarines and explore the depths of the ocean. I've come to the conclusion that I clearly don't have thalassophobia.
For my latest project, I wanted to do something inspired by all those wonderful, slightly effed-up creatures. And here she is! This is Bream. A wire frame doll with pose-able arms, head and tail. The submarine is made from mostly recycled materials, which was pretty fun to experiment with.
Hope you like her! See you on the flip side ✌️
