Here is 12th genshin impact redesign as well as my second Fontaine redesign and it's Chevreuse💜🔥🍟. Surprisingly, this one came out good because I genuinely had no idea what to expect 😅.
Redesign notes🗒🎨:
Chevreuse's design was good in some areas like the skirt and sleeves. But it also had parts that didn't fit the captain of the guard look to me like the spikes on the belt and the headphones (which I removed).
The game plan was just piecing the puzzles 🧩of the clothes and see what clicks together and what doesn't fit the puzzle. For example, the sleeves, shirt collar and skirt were all pieced together into one coat. Other than that, most of the design stayed same like with the gloves and boots.
Chevreuse has a white top just like Clorinde and gray pants for color balance because I felt she had a lot of brown on her so some brighter colors were needed. Her vision was moved to be at the center of the belt too and she has red hair clip for that golden star on her hair.
I also added some golden shoulder pads, just like the original 19th century French soliders which Chevreuse is based on.
One of the more bigger changes was her hairstyle. I see a lot of redesigns of Chevreuse were the hair is either short or a ponytail and I can see why. I looked that female soliders must have specific hairstyles like braids or a bun to keep their hair out of hair out the way. To be honest, I like the short hair a lot more.
I also added some freckles just like with Amber and I was going to make her tan skin but seeing how much brown she had in her outfit, I decided to stick to the original skin tone. It works either way.
The redesign came out so cute❤️ and I'm especially happy with the pose and the rifle 🥰.
