i did prompt rambling! heres a few more pondering questions :3

you have any chevzou hcs ?? like does heizou ever help her with her hair? (and ive noticed you dont always include chev's eyepatch, might i ask if theres a lore implication for that?)

and how they navigate each others nation? (or if its one in one nation more often than the other?)

how many other inazumans know about thier relationship? fontainians as well?

how often do they go out jn public as a relationship and do journalists in Fontaine (cough cough charlotte) bug them about it at all? if they do manage to keel it secret, how so?

HMMM CHEVZOU HCS... here are some!!!

• chevy likes to encourage heizou to work out more, but he rarely ever does. brains over brawn i guess

• heizou likes to mail local specialties to chevy

• oh also, they always fine the time to mail eaxh other letters. most of the time, its heizou sending first. but sometimes chevy sends first aswell

• i depict chevreuse to have more muscle, knowing shes the captain of the special security and surveilance patrol, and heizou really likes her muscle. he finds it flattering.

• chevreuse is actually taller than heizou! its purely genetics.

• chevreuse is a messy eater. heizou brings around a hankerchief when they eat together just for this.

• they really rarely call each other by name. mostly just "captain" or "detective".

• heizou gets flush in his face when hes flustered, while chevys ears redden.

my reasoning for her not having her eyepatch is bcuz in most of my drawings shes pff work, which is when she'll mostly be with heizou. she doesnt use her eyepatch off work cuz she doesnt have too. sometimes, it could instead be a nuisance.

heizou rarely ever comes to fontaine, only for business purposes as inazumas water transportation line is still developing and it can be quite hard to find someone whos willing to sail all the way to fontaine. while chevreuse comes to inazuma every once in a while as vacation. she likes the cuisine and the overall atmosphere (and also their tenryou comission special detective ˃͈◡˂͈)

for ppl that know, on chevys side, merely only sigewinne knows. they dont really try or actually make it look like a relationship. see it from a blind eye, they just look like business partners i guess. sigewinne being a melusine, she can sense human emotions and state of the soul. like in the archon quest, she can sense who are tired and surprise them with the special meat. with chevreuse, she can sense.. somethinh special in her heart. as for heizou, no one actually has heard it from his own mouth officially. just word from mouth to mouth.

when dealing with fontaine journalists *cough cough*, chevreuse is more straight forward. "our relationship is nothing more than platonic friends." or something along the lines of that. legend says fontaine journalists *cough* are still trying to get a word regarding that from the other party in inazuma.

the way they keep it secret.. they never really said theyd keep it secret. its just, they dont really physically show their affection out in public. chevy aint a big fan of pda and heizou respects that. they rarely ever talk about each other to other ppl as well sooo yahhhh.. the only crumbs FONTAINE JOURNALISTS amd some ppl from the tenryou comission get of them are just them eating together and going places together, and without clear context, that can mean anything.
