I've never oven fried chicken before. I wanted to just eat a plate of fried chicken but it's not something I do anymore. Well, I fucked up some Roscoe's with @beautybyuche. I decided to indulge myself and bite the bullet and take the long route around oven-fried chicken I would be completely satisfied with. Panko crumbs and constant spraying with coconut oil and turning in the oven is the key. I blasted in on 425 for about 10 min and then turned it down to 350. I turned it every 7-10 min and about 5-6 times. Also, the Panko crumbs are going to sustain crunch but may not turn golden brown, so if you want to ensure that golden color, add paprika and cayenne to the breadcrumbs themselves. I added chipotle tobacco to the egg mixture and of course the chicken had paprika and cayenne amongst the spices used. Im really missing onion and garlic powder these days. I need to buy spices.
