Chi Delta's main charity they work for and with is Uplifting Athletes. Uplifting Athletes is a national nonprofit organization aligning college football with rare diseases and raising them as a national priority through outreach, research, education and advocacy.
With the first day of Rush Week, Chi Delta is inviting visitors to their home to see the men take place in the 'lift for life' program. With every pound they are able to bench press, pull or flex, Uplifting Athletes will donate a dollar. Come cheer on your friends, your boyfriends or your future brothers.
They also will be holding a tug of war game tournament. Winners will receive arm bands supporting the charity.
At the end of the day, some of the kids that receive help with the program and frequently come to visit with the football players will be coming for a tournament in XBOX. Both Madden and NCAA football will be played and you can sign up as soon as you walk in.
Here the men want you to see that they are more than just athletes and more than just members of a frat. They come together for a cause both on the field and off it at home.
Food and drinks will be served and provided by both Chi Delta and Uplifting Athletes.
