i am being VIVIDLY AND BODILY hurled backwards into the Tumblr Of Ten Years Past. if this had come out then i think it would have been rendered unusable
god it's so Weird (doubtless intentionally so) to have hornet as the protagonist now because it just highlights how different she is from little ghost. they do have some idle movement when standing around but it didn't occur to me that they don't breathe until i noticed that when she's sitting on a bench, hornet does. and if you idle, she looks around in a very clearly "oh shit I've gotten too comfortable and can't lower my guard" way, which is such a great bit of characterization (especially when taken next to ghost's not-so-hollow-after-all nap time, which is also great). they're doing such a good job of showing just how alive she is compared to her Literally Undead sibling. these games are so fucking well-done it's a shame they're such a chore to actually Play...
