who is more likely to hurt the other? they take turns and in different ways. mikoto, by actions, and izumo, by words, both usually without meaning to…usually.
who is emotionally stronger? definitely not suoh perpetually two seconds away from becoming a crater mikoto!!!!!!!!!!!!!
who is physically stronger? mikoto gets an obvious edge because of the whole king thing and what with being a loose cannon but honestly we just don’t see much of kusajii throwin it down in elevators it outside of the novels sadly :(
who is more likely to break a bone? his own - mikoto; others’ - a tie
who knows best what to say to upset the other? izumo. mikoto’s fucking silence is equally unbearable though :)
who is most likely to apologise first after an argument? i think even canonically this has been mikoto which is…kind of amazing?
who treats who’s wounds more often? ha ha ha
who is in constant need of comfort? neither, although they both need reassurance every now and then, which they are also shitty at openly providing each other. luckily, totsuka supplies that. or er, did.
who gets more jealous? chapter 10 of k r:b is the literary masterpiece of our time or: i love bitter jealous kusanagi. that said, if you mean it to be who is more insecure about the relationship, i would say mikoto. see this always and forever :)))))
who’s most likely to walk out on the other? lmao canonically mikoto did and mikoto does, every time, and does it when he can’t come up with a better option, every time. the most important thing is that he also came back, every time, right up until he couldn’t. and this is maybe ultimately why izumo forgives him, yes, even that time.
who will propose? in the au where mikoto doesn’t buy him a bakery, they probably just wake up one day and izumo goes: shit, we’re married, arent we? and mikoto yawns all: yeah it’s been like 10 years…you just caught on?
who has the most difficult parents? i still don’t know enough about their parents bc this franchise hates me and never wants me to know anything about the two of them i mean i’m not bitter why do you ask but it seems everyone was more absent rather than difficult
who initiates hand-holding when they’re out in public? i don’t see them as being big on ~purposeful pda like handholding but casual touching like fixing/adjusting each other’s clothing, swiping each other’s food, randomly leaning on each other, etc is so second-nature they don’t even register it happening and is initiated in a 50/50 fashion
who hogs the blankets? neither cares too too much for blankets what with built-in red aura furnace at the ready
who gets more sad? eight world empires will rise and fall and it will still be me who gets the SADDEST
who is better at cheering the other up? mikoto weirdly enough just probably like picks up like a glass or napkin after himself and izumo tears up. his day and life are made. he asks for so little, really.
who’s the one that playfully slaps the other all the time after they make silly jokes? yo but i can never forget the whole ‘i just missed your face :)’ ‘what the hell is wrong with your head??? D:’ exchange, so mikoto generally short-circuits easily in the face of joke-flirting, especially if semi-public. but then there was also that one time izumo nearly killed a man after mikoto deadpan called him onii-chan. so. there’s a lot of mutual roughhousing, jokes or not.
who is more streetwise? izumo is probably a large part of the reason mikoto made it out of his teens alive alas the twenties were another matter
who is more wise? three guesses!! (that said, idk about ~wise~ but i still don’t go for the thoughtless brainless mikoto hcs but that’s another rant 4 years in the making…)
who’s the shyest? mikoto is p socially awkward at times but not really what i would call shy
who boasts about the other more? not so much boasting as izumo exasperatedly defending mikoto in the face of like…literally everyone in his life outside of homra
who sits on who’s lap? sitting is probably too much effort but there’s enough evidence for mikoto randomly napping on izumo’s lap time and time again so make of that what you will!
