Heyo! I have a curious question! So, I know you like the Magical Girl genre so I'm curious. How do you feel about some of the modern MG shows that tried to be very dark and grim and all that sad stuff?

I honestly don’t like them at all. Utena is like the only “deconstruction” show I liked but even it had positive tones. Utena was positive throughout the whole thing, kept to her ideals and all that.

I mean yeah, it’s nice to see the repercussions of becoming something like a magical girl, but they all take it WAY too far and make it feel like “NO. MAGICAL GIRLS ARE BAD YOUR LIFE WILL BE LIVING HELL” and it’s like...no...these aren’t the ideas I grew up with. At this point, Precure is pretty much the best show to show both pros and cons of being a teenager (who also happens to be a magical girl). Like man, I sure loved Go! Princess’ end message - that dreams and despair go together and it’s okay to feel despair at times, but it should also help you strive for your dreams even more.

I guess shall ask some questions! ^^ 1. How you feel if I reference Raison in any of my future fanime projects? 2. Is there any character you see in fiction you wanna punch in the face?

1. I wouldn’t mind at all, though you gotta show it to me if you ever do, and make sure to credit the comic in...comments or staff credits or whatever you fanime people do for credits x3

2. Oh yes. There’s a few of those...I don’t even know where to start. Most of the characters in the Daggerfall Covenant storyline in ESO come to mind. I don’t have the Adventurer’s Pack that lets me pick any race into any alliance, so my Breton version of Miko (Kaierilie Moneiric) is stuck in that craptacular storyline. It’s all the same - moral choices, right and wrong, black and white. OMG. Good thing some of them ARE killable, because some Kai just wants to do just that :P
