Two mohair suits by Monte-Sano & Pruzan
(Top) Model Jean Shrimpton wears a giant plaid ginger suit in smoky and auburn colors. The lines, simply these: a tubular jacket with a flattened front, a collar tied at the waist, a rounded skirt. Bracelet by Mimi di N. Hat by Christian Dior-New York.
(Below) Model Wilhelmina Cooper wears an even bigger and brighter plaid suit, in colors that sound weird, look wonderful - loden, flame, ginger shades. The jacket has dropped shoulders, no buttons; the skirt, rounded with two pocket slits. Blouse and scarf lining, orange silk. Golden earrings. Pigskin gloves by Crescendoe-Superb. Miss Alice hat.
